My brother and I travelled to Marrakech for 5 nights in January. We are Senior travellers and have travelled extensively independently. I chose the Riad Dar Dialkoum after much research, and we were very happy with every aspect of the Riad. It is situated down an alley in the fascinating, bustling Medina and, once through the door, it is an oasis of beauty and tranquility in a hectic environment. We arrived late in the evening and were met and taken to our rooms by a friendly young woman. We had received upgrades on both our rooms, and my room was delightful - large, airy with a four posted bed. There was a fruit bowl, water and rose petal decorations on the towels, bed and even in the bathroom.
The breakfasts were fantastic, catering for all Nationalities, as were the three evening meals we enjoyed in the beautiful courtyard of the Riad. Our hosts Muriel and Laurent gave us some excellent advice about the main tourist areas, and were attentive to our needs. They also have an excellent staff who maintain the Riad and prepare the beautiful meals.
We were particularly grateful to Muriel who checked on our early morning flight to Egypt, only to find it had been cancelled without our knowledge. She then spent some time organising another flight for us, and making sure this flight would make the necessary connections - we were extremely grateful for her help in organising this for us. Both Laurent and Muriel took time to welcome new arrivals and explain the running of the Riad, as well as giving an insight into the Medina.
I would have no hesitation in giving the Riad the highest recommendation for any traveller of any age - you will always be made welcome and given the very best of care during your stay.

We booked this Riad based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. Loved the decor, location, price and the hosts and staff. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough to get us going for the day. Tourist advice and hints also allowed us to be ahead of the game! Thank you Laurent and Muriel. You made us feel at home the entire time. Definitely recommend this Riad!

We couldn't fault this delightful riad, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets yet within easy reach of everything.
Muriel and Laurent, our hosts, went out of their way to help us and to ensure we had everything we needed. From suggesting places to visit and things to do, highlighting details and directions on maps, to providing us with warm jackets for our night in the desert, even going so far as to cleaning them for us. We could not have survived our night in the desert without them.
A lovely, clean and well maintained place, with friendly attentive staff and lots of very welcome little touches. Super breakfasts and evening meals, warming mint tea and, importantly (in December) heating, both in the main areas and in our bedroom.
We highly recommend Riad Dar Dialkoum. It was always such a pleasure, and a relief, to return there after a day out. A real home from home.

My wife and I have just returned from a three night stay at Riad Dar Dialkoum with our 9 month old daughter, as part of our first trip to Morocco which also included Essaouria. We had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the city with their family. The Riad itself is a great escape from the souks and and sounds of the city but what stood out for us was the warm welcome we received from Muriel, Laurent and their happy team.

From the moment we set foot inside the Riad, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel perfectly at home with good advice to make the most of out time in the city. The reason for the trip was to celebrate my wife's birthday and, upon arrival, there was a special bouquet of flowers and soaps from Laurent and Muriel.

I can highly recommend the Tagines from the Dar Dialkoum kitchen which were amongst the best we had during our holiday. The 'Discovery menu' is a real treat!

The Riad is well situated in a quiet spot away from the crowds but is only a 15 minute stroll to the main square and the central Souks. The rooms are all very well equipped and perfectly clean. We would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at the Riad Dar Dialkoum for a week in October 2013. from the moment we arrived Laurent and Muriel made us feel so welcome and it really was home from home! Laurent gave us some great tips when we arrived to help make the most of our visit. The walk down the alleys to get to the Riad was easy to remember and we enjoyed wandering round the streets finding our way to different places. The room we stayed in was fantastic and so peaceful, in fact when you stepped inside the Riad it was like entering another world, so quiet and restful away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. We loved the roof terrace and spent many hours sat in the Berber tent reading and relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and the complimentary mint tea and bottles of water was always very welcome, the food we ordered at lunchtime was also always delicious and freshly cooked. Overall we had a fantastic week and returned home with some fantastic memories of our week at the Riad Dar Dialkoum! We don't usually like to go back to the same place twice but this Riad will definitely tempt us back!!

We have just returned from three night stay at this amazing Riad and I really could not have asked for more.
Arriving by taxi transfer (arranged and paid for by the Riad), were greeted by the welcoming staff with mint tea and cakes and later, Laurent the host took great care in sitting down with us to suggest and itinerary and places to visit that would appeal to us such as the Kosy Bar, carriage rides and out of this world Maison du Arabe and more importantly, gave us tips on how to haggle and avoid guides who would take us to the middle of nowhere and ask for 100 dirhams for the pleasure (we got stung before we had had the chance to speak to Laurent!)
Our room was just perfect - strewn with rose petals and just how I imagine a luxury Riad to be. I was a little nervous that none of the rooms have a bath, as I'm a confirmed bather but the shower, with its authentic orange blossom toiletries, well place shelves and even more rose petals, completely won me over.
The food was also wonderful. We had the set Moroccan menu of soup, salads, lemon chicken tagine and traditional dessert and each bite was delicious.
Breakfast each morning was filling and tasty and the lack of fixed serving times suited us perfectly being such dilly dalliers inthe morning!
Our whole trip continued with more and more examples of this perfect hospitality. We really could not have been happier. In fact, so happy, it's compelled me to write my first TA review!

My tips for a successful first trip to Marrakech would be:
1. Stay here.
2. Take Laurent and Muriel's advice on things to see, do and where to eat.
3. Pay attention to their tips on staying safe and not getting ripped off!

I would like to tell everybody about this hotel. I have stayed in many hotels but this one is a hidden treasure, the service is beyond anything I have experienced, Muriel took care of us for the whole stay from making us feel extremely welcome to walking us to a restaurant as it's not accessible by taxi. The staff were extremely friendly too and the breakfasts were just great and varied. Tea and coffee were always available anytime of the day and included in the cost of the room. I took my partner there for his 40th birthday and I arranged a restaurant booking and a hamman massage again all organised and booked by Muriel. If you want to go to Marrakech and want to experience the most beautiful hotel and amazing service look no further, please book this hotel you won't regret it !!
