Riad Eden is excellently located in the centre of Old Marrakech and therefore within easy distance of all that we wanted to visit. The Riad itself is charming and offers good value for money. Being a tourist in somewhere like Marrackech can be dis-orientating and even a little scary at first. However Emmanuel was excellent at arranging our transfer to and from the airport and providing a plethora of advice and help regarding all aspects of visit. This made a big difference and resulted in a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Emmanuel and Helene are the gracious owners of the Riad Eden within walking distance to the Markets, Souks and just about anywhere (and a short taxi ride to anywhere else of interest in the city). A hearty continental breakfast on the roof terrace started our days and some evenings, especially after a enervating hamman (LesBain de Marrakesh spa) for two, dinner could be provided with advance notice by the lovely staff members.
We had a lovely room at the top of the riad (The Orange Room) where we felt comfortable and close to the roof terrace space where Spring time sun would seek us on the lounge chairs.
Emmanuel and Helene were there with useful information in the morning and evening, we didn't need a telly.

We stayed at the Riad Eden for a total of 5 nights in February 2012. Airport pick up was easy and smooth. Location was prime- walking distance to most major landmarks including the Jemaa el Fna and the Medina. Emmanuel and his wife were very welcoming and took time to answer questions to help plan for our 9 days in Morocco. They assisted us to book a car, made suggestions on restaurants, shopping, and spas, and provided general travel tips. Emmanuel persuaded us to rent a car instead of getting a driver and it was very good advice for the 4 days we spent driving to the desert and back being able to do it on our own schedule.

The Riad was very clean with beautiful decor and the staff were helpful, prompt and professional. The roof top patio offered a lovely view of the Atlas mountains. Breakfast was served tradition Moroccon style including eggs, bread with jam, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee. Overall, Riad Eden was excellent value and very comfortable; we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Marrakech experience.

Room Tip: The Orange room is lovely and good value- close to the roof top patio to catch the sun and a great v...

We stayed here for 3 nights in March 2012. Emmanuel - the owner - was really helpful with answering questions before we arrived. We were in the Riad within 45 minutes of stepping off the plane thanks to the airport transfer he'd arranged.

We were in the Orange Room which was lovely and the Riad itself was very relaxing and romantic. Perfect location with all the sights in walking distance. We had dinner there on the night we arrived which was very good and Emmanuel organised an excursion to the Atlas mountains which was great.

If we ever return to Marrakech we'd stay at the Riad Eden

My boyfriend and I stayed here back in October. We had arranged for train station and airport pick-up, which both went smoothly. The room was beautiful - chocolate room - and the meals were amazing. We had dinner at the riad one evening and loved it, and the breakfast on the terrace was delicious too. I think the main reason why I loved the riad so much was because of Emmanuel and his staff. Not only did they help us get oriented while in Marrakech, but he was so helpful when my parents traveled to Marrakech in February 2012. I had hoped they could stay with him but Riad Eden was booked so they went to Riad Anabel, also owned/managed by Emmanuel. They were so well taken care of and Emmanuel kept in touch with me in Casablanca and made sure I knew they had arrived safely and were taken care of, all with a great sense of humour. There are lots of riads in Marrakech, all stunningly beautiful... but I think customer service is a really important part of a travel experience, and I'm so grateful to Emmanuel and his staff.

Room Tip: The Chocolate Room is lovely - its balcony overlooks the inner courtyard of the riad. Not very priv...

Tucked away, but right in the heart of things Riad Eden is an incredibly beautiful place with the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever come across! We were a group of 13 and booked the Riad for 6 nights. Even before we arrived Emmanuelle, the owner, had helped us arrange a surprise cookery course a day excursion to the Atlas mountains and plenty of advise and suggestions on what we could do in Marrakech. The food is amazing and if you wish you can relax in the kitchen and watch the chef cook. We could have afternoon tea on the roof terrace and watch the sun go down over the city. A truly great find and couldn't recommend it highly enough!! Book it!

Very nice hotel in souk in Marrakech, can only recommend. The owner was super responsive in terms of our needs, and the place is just beautiful, very good price. They also organized for us the tours we wanted to do, tailored to our needs, which made travelling with two small children much easier. We loved Morocco, of course because it's a beautiful country, but also in great part because of staying in Riad Eden in Marrakech and how well organized our excursions were. Likely to go back!
