My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel and it was fabulous. Great location, 10 minute walk to the Square and Souks, 2 min walk from nearby restaurants such as Comptoir & The Lotus Club (both which i'd recommend). The staff were great, very helpful and could not do more. Our room was lovely, the pool area was beautiful with a good lunch menu available. Breakfast could be taken where you choose, either in the pool area, your room or the main hall which we thought was a nice touch. We organised a guide for the souks and a tour to the Atlas mountains through the hotel very easily. A great place, with the feel of Marrakech that you don't get at chain hotels, with everything you need.

Room Tip: 304 was very nice

If you want to eat original Moroccan dishes in a typical traditional Moroccan restaurant, than the Red House in Marrakech is the place to go.
A beautiful decorated dining room with live Moroccan music and belly dancers serves delicious meals.

We were a group of four mature persons. Arriving in Marrakech we were met at the airport which had been arranged through the Red House. The Red House is located outside the Medina but within fifteen minutes walk the main road roads down one side but even sitting by the lovely pool it is peaceful. The main attraction to the Red House has got to be Abdel and his staff they couldn't have been more helpful arranging restaurants for us each evening a couple of the restaurants collected us and brought us back after our meal and didn't charge. Abdel arrange for a guide to take us around the Medina without this we could never have found our way afterwards we were able to go alone which was very interesting. There wasn't a day that went by that Abdel didn't check to see if we were happy and everything was running smoothly - perfect. We would definitely stay there again should we return to Marrakech.

There was one small point which I sure has now been fixed the shower did leak badly in our room but that didn't concern us so much.

I have stayed in many places with my two girls aged 11 and 9 and my husband but nothing compares to the welcome we had at this fantastic home from home. It is 5 star the whole way with the staff, location and accommodation everything was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights and then moved onto to Oualidia, due to unforeseen circumstances we had to come back to Marrakech Abdul had given us his contact number when we left incase we had any problems after a call to him we had been sorted with a beautiful room and a promise of being looked after for another 5 nights, in Marrakech there is no other place to stay but here and we will return year after year and never stay anywhere else !!

Room Tip: We stayed in both the kings suite and queens both beautiful, every room is perfect.

The hotel is situated just outside the Medina, somewhere between the old city and he new city. It is walking distance to both. The small hotel is set in a lovely garden with a relaxing swimming pool is on a quiet street just opposite the Royal Mansour hotel. Even tough it is a small hotel with only 9 rooms, it is very spacious. We booked a double room and it turned out to be an extremely big bedroom with an adjacent living room and two bathrooms. The garden, restaurant, lobby area and the pool are all very spacious for a 9 room hotel which makes it very relaxing and pleasant for the guests.
The staff are all very helpful and kind. The hotel arranges complimentary transfers to and from the airport and train station. V. Good breakfast either to be delivered to your room or to be eaten in the impressive restaurant or the beautiful garden.
We stayed for 5 nights and were thoroughly pleased with our choice of hotel.

"The place" to stay, located very close to medina and to the new part of the town, a wonderful old building with very nice and spacious rooms. You may find these at other hotels but the people working there makes this place so special. Very nice and helpful people with the best knowledge of what's good in town just trying to make your vacation a rememberable one. Abdul (the head receptionist), Nourdin and all others are so helpful and friendly, it is hard to believe that such people exists in the tourism business. Needless to say that the other receptionists, the porter and room service were excellent. Our driver Mustapha (also advised by the team) guided us for two days with the local expertise. This very clever and friendly man sensed the way we travel and made us explore the local way of living and eating. Ask for him if you need a wonderful guide. I wish Tripadvisor also had a page that we can share our experiences of the guides and people who get us around.
The hotel is an old house with astonishing tiles at the restaurant. The room we stayed was a suit with two bathrooms and a separate living room. A reasonable size pool in the garden.
But beyond all, the credit is for the wonderful people who made our stay a very pleasant one. Thanks so much to all of them.

Everything about the Red House is superb. I must stress the excellence and friendliness of the staff, from Abdel (who seemed to be the manager) down; the charming and, I would say, even luxurious facilities; the complimentary transfers to and from the airport; the magnificent restaurant; the breakfasts by the pool; and the stupendous location, in front of the Medina walls.

Room Tip: Rooms with view to the side street are quieter.
