Stayed at this hotel for a week in June and i really liked it!
Cannot complain about the service of the staff.
Everything is clean too!

The location is OKAY, it isnt far from the Medina maybe about a 10 minute cab ride if that but is 5 minute walking distance from the new town which had clubs and bars.

Some people complained about the selection of dinner which is true BUT regardless if it was minimal choices the food was up to standard! Cannot comment on breakfast because i never woke up for it!

Only annoying thing was everyone speaks french but that isnt the hotels fault!

Theres a free internet room on the bottom floor which came in handy!

I thought it was a good value for money simply because you got what you paid for. On the whole it is quite average but i was still very impressed because average could be bad, but it wasnt soo i was pleased.
Dont have high expectations and you will be very pleased.

Air conditioning was amazing, you could leave it on whilst youre out so when you come back from the pool your room is nice and cool.

TV and fridge available in room.

TIP for cabs is ask them to turn on the meter so that way you are sure about how much the price is, they cant say no because they are actually supposed to have it on but chose not to so they can get more money.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while in Marrakech. The lobby is beautiful and has a cute pool area that the breakfast restaurant spills onto-great for enjoying breakfast outside. They have a free business center with three computers and free wifi in the lobby and in the rooms that goes in and out (not consistent-ok for just connecting for random internet usage but I'd be upset as a business traveller). They have these really nice balconys off the rooms with no chairs (?)...we would have loved to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine? Not sure what that was all about as it was in the 70s while we were there. Gross rug next to my bed-was stained and dirty. Modern, flat screen tvs, but no coffee maker, robes, slippers, etc...they do have in room dining. Great little jazzy club/bar on the main level, they also have a cute gift shop that sells water (unsure of price-we went to a little market that was 3 blocks to the right and got water for 6dh, also sells wine and beer--it's a little hidden another right turn off the street where it says "sheraton pharmacy"-turn right). It's a quick, nice safe half hour walk to the medina/main plaza, but there are also a lot of indoor/outdoor restos/cafes on the same street of the hotel (across the street.) The "camel guys" are also about 5 blocks to the right on the same street (can sit on a camel and get your pic taken for a few dirhams) Spa in hotel is a little overpriced for what it was. Overall the public spaces of the hotel were a win, the rooms were averaged-not terribly big, a little worn but clean.

Room Tip: Ask for chairs for the balcony!!! We had a pool view which was nice.

I have just returned from my lovely trip to Marrakech which was great.
But I think the let down has to be the hotel. This hotel is not a 4*. I would rate is as a 3*. The hotel is large and has a swimming pool outside, and nice gardens. The let down for me was as we were on HB. The food for dinner or lunch wasn’t very nice it was a limited amount buffet with French food not traditional Moroccan food at all. There is only one main restaurant.
The food is the same every evening and we all felt sick after a few days we started to eat outside in restaurants and the square as it was more authentic. Breakfast is basic and has variety of bread rolls, and pastries again same every day, the breakfast runs out if you don’t get there before 8am. Also you have to ask for things to be re-stocked up.
This is the only time you get free tea or coffee as you have to pay for drinks with your dinner including 20 (MAD) for bottle of water which is terrible. Service in the dining area is slow to many people and not enough food to go around.
Rooms are average for 3* clean and clean and cleaned daily, there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room. But there are LCD tvs.
Hotel staff are ok but can be rude and ignorant at times.
Location is good, close to the train station and Menara Gardens a lovely walk.
There is a Acmi supermarket nearby to get all your drinks, and basics and also Gueliz where they have Zara and modern shops just for a change from the square.
Overall Marrakech is amazing people are lovely and I will return again but just not to this hotel.
I think I would stay in a Riad or possibly somewhere where it is a 4* with more Moroccan traditions.

Room Tip: If you really have to stay choose a room near gardens as its better.

Stayed at Atlas Asni for 7 nights in November 2011. The hotel claims to be a 4-star hotel in its website (http://www.hotelsatlas.com/?lang=en), but I don't think it can even pass as a 3-star hotel! The best thing about the hotel is its location, very close to Palais de Congres where my dad had his conference. Compared to Mansour Eddahbi, Atlas Asni's lobby is very nice, as it's brightly lit and looks posh. However that's where the good things end. Wifi is provided free of charge in the lobby, but the signal was so weak and the speed was very slow. It only worked at specific spots. There is computer room, where desktops and printer was provided free of charge, but the printer was not working when I was there. The first room given to us seemed to have been occupied by someone else (used towels, crumpled bedsheets), and nothing works. We couldn't even call the receptionist to complain, as the phone was not working! Requested a room change, which was promptly given. There is no amenities in the room, other than soap and shampoo. No complimentary tea and coffee, no kettle, no mugs and no fridge. The hotel staff spoke very limited English.. and most of them are not friendly. The nicest staff I met was one receptionist and one duty manager who let me use his office printer as the printer in the computer room was not working.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location, walking distance to the convention center. The food choices in its restaurants, though, are very limited. The wifi is super-slow and works onlyin certain spots of the lobby. I learned to have my key card "renewed" each time I go up to the room so I didn't have to go back down each time I found out it wasn't working again.

I would say the hotel is very well kept and the rooms were clean and everything worked. My only slight problem was with the breakfast which was OK in terms of quantity, but the cooked option was not the best I've ever had and there was a distinct lack of fresh fruit available which was surprising.
The pool area was excellent and the pool itself was good for swimming lengths etc.
Bar prices were resasonable and the Hamman was excellent there !

Me and my friend stayed in the Atlas Asni hotel in Marrakech for 4 nights from the 2nd Oct 2011. The hotel was really clean, with most of the staff friendly although very little English is spoken, its mainly French. The swimming pool is really refreshing after laying in the sun, and clean enough. Complimentary towels are available at the pool side, which is nice. The sun loungers were a bit smelly but as you get the complimentary towels, you cannot complain. The food is average, edible but nothing special, and the same every night, so i would have got bored if i was staying more than 4 nights, but we didn't go hungry and had 3 courses every night. The hotel has a shop inside which sells water / drinks / confectionary / batteries and local goods also, which is convenient as i needed batteries one morning. There is a bank across the road from the hotel, which is also convenient if you need extra cash. The hotel is situated in the 'new city', which is approx 20 minutes walk from the old city. Its easy to find the old city literally turn right out of the hotel until you get to the main road, and then turn left, and that takes you to the old city walls. This is a 4-star hotel, and for the price we paid, i would recommend it. We had clean towels everyday. Our room over looked the pool which was lovely and more quite than the rooms around the front, it was quite at night times. Air conditioning in the room was ok....could have been better, but enabled us to get to sleep at night, so no complaints.
