It's great to have a museum just for photography. It's the only one in Morocco. I like photography personally and to visit exhibitions of photography. I want to congratulate the young team who work there mainly salima and sofiane.

I had the chance to visit that museum and frankly, it's a nice one, the exhibition as well as the team are friendly. Looking forward the final big museum.

Went there today. Not really my sort of thing, but interesting to see history in photographic form. Entry is 40 Dirhams but keep your ticket and you can go back another day. Entry includes a 90min video showing the history of Marrakesh. Aside from it being WAY too long, it only happens to be worth looking if you speak French. No English subtitles.....

A good rest stop from the busy souks around it but I guess you need to appreciate it more then me.

I visited Marrakech, we stayed in Riad missin. Not to bad, it is about 15 mins walk from the Riad to Jemal fina. I went to Gueliz new city, I have to say that it was terrific. However the prices may be a bit steep on shopping, it is well worth a visit though.
In Marrakech we also visited Majorelle garden which had fascinating views of different plants blending with each other. This place is perfect for tourists and photographers who want to take beautiful photos. The place is definitely a must. The tickets are 20 dhms each. Other than that , we just wondered around the souks(markets) and saw some of the beautiful mosques and madrassas. Koutobia mosque was excellent to see. In case you get lost in Marrakech, it is a good landmark. However, one thing to beware of is that there are a lot of con men in Morocco. A few locals may ask to help you find your way around but are always after a tip(money) at the end. Be careful and enjoy.
