“The highlight of our holiday in Morocco”

We arrived very late at Maison Mnabha after a long flight delay and were welcomed warmly and settled in by Peter and Aziz who waited up for us. When we woke up next day after a much needed sleep we had the best breakfast ever on the roof terrace and then caught up with e-mails, facebook to a background of cool jazz. We spent a delightful three days in the unique little haven created by Lawrence and Peter. We are recommending the experience to all our friends who are thinking of heading out to Morocco.r

We stayed here for two nights during the end of our trip to Morocco. We wanted to be in a beautiful and relaxing place after a three-night four-day journey from Fez to the desert and then on to Marrakech and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Before we arrived at Maison Mnabha, we had been in communication with Peter who was very helpful and open to answering our questions.

Upon arrival, Peter met us at the car (we had a driver) and two young men carried our bags in for us. I think that usually the paperwork is filled out in the magnificent parlor, but my passport was up in my bag so we ended up filling out the papers on the little terrace outside of our room. Peter brought us towels and something to drink to freshen up.

We also had the opportunity to meet Peter’s brother, Lawrence. He was extremely friendly and we chatted with him a number of times during our short stay. We even sat and had a drink with him one evening.

The accommodation itself, like everyone else has stated, is spectacular down to every last detail. The room we stayed in had two beds pushed together. There was a mini-bar in the room with drinks and snacks for purchase as well as complimentary nuts and other snacks. There was also a menu and drinks that could be ordered. In addition, there was a safe and a hairdryer in the room as well as an ipod dock.

Cats live here, but my partner, who is allergic to cats, had absolutely no reaction to them.

We were able to get our laundry done here as well.

We were taking the night train from Marrakech to Tangier on our last day, and Peter and Lawrence allowed us to stay in our room until right before we were leaving for the train, since there was no one staying in that particular room that evening. This was so so so helpful and appreciated, as we were able to shower and relax before our train journey. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is visiting Marrakech.

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. The rooms are stunningly beautiful--filled with authentic Moroccan artwork. The breakfasts are like none you'll have elsewhere (and have at least one breakfast on the roof, if you can!) Peter is a wealth of information about the Kasbah and Morocco, if you ask him. There are just nothing but good things to say about this oasis in Marrakesh.

Loved staying at Maison mnabha because everything was perfect in every way. We left our passports in the safe big panic before telephoning MM and within 15 minutes we got them after being delivered by a member of staff on his motorbike, wow.
Fab clean rooms and ac, fab food and great for information, would return tomorrow if we could.

Just brilliant is how I would sum up Maison Mnabha. It exceeded our expectations and demonstrated how the customer comes first. I have stayed in two riads in Marrakech both displaying indifferent attitudes towards their guests whereas at Maison Mnabha the care and attention given by the staff was excellent, caring and genteel. After eating there I now understand how their reputation has grown over the years serving high standard food and service with attention to detail second to non. The bedroom was light, spacious and absolutely spotless with a fusion of oriental and Moroccan artefacts whereas the main salon was truly Moroccan with fantastic antiques collected over the years. An absolute must to stay for those of you who appreciate genuine 17th century architecture.

We stayed at Maison Mnabha on the recommendation of friends and it exceeded expectations. We wanted a few days of relaxation and luxury after a family holiday trekking in the Atlas Mountains. The setting was beautiful, the food fabulous and the service excellent. Our rooms were fresh and clean, with fresh flowers every day, silk robes, free internet access and i-pod docks (great for the kids!). Thanks to everyone at Maison Mnabha.

We´ve been touring with another couple and their adult children. We spent three nights at the small but exquisite Maison Mnabha and it was perfect for us. Its quiet location and attention to detail made it the perfect place for us as a base in Marrakech. The owners and Aziz the manager were so hospitable that we felt very relaxed and comfortable. We ordered a special dinner for us on our last night - it was a wonderful way to end our visit to Morocco.
