The riad is really like in all those pictures...apart from heaters, that were never installed. The room is beautiful and spacious, and has a chimney which needs to be used at all times (we went at the end of november) if you want to reach 20C in the room. Unfortunately, the staff in the hotel isn't managed in a way that they proactively deal with that, so be prepared to spend some time organizing wood supply chain.
That being said, the staff are really gentle and helpful, so provided that you givea little nudge you can get virtually anything you need.
All in all, a very nice Riad, but not for use in the cold months as a golfing fallback to the Medina - at least not for that price tag.

Room tip: Prefer first floor rooms.

From the moment they picked us up from the airport, the service was impeccable. We were upgraded to the suites which were unbelievable - pure luxury.
The location was so central and the staff were beyond helpful. They could not do enough for us and were more than happy to make our stay pleasurable.
Honestly, it felt like the staff wanted to be there and wanted to help. The rooftop terrace was luxurious and large enough that you felt like the only people there.
The breakfast was superb and changed a little everyday. The pool was gorgeious and quiet and had a beautiful sky roof.
They arranged a private tour of the city that was extremely educational and interesting and the hamman that they recommended was authentic and a once in a lifetime experience.
A perfect holiday.
Book it.

From first contact through to checkout, the experience with Riad Kniza was just outstanding. Customer focused, nothing was too much trouble, and the quality of accommodation and food was superb. This isn't a cheap option in Marrakesh but it must be one of the very best.

The real stars of this beautiful place are the staff. Always helpful and friendly. Just outside the Riad the street life is colourful, fun, and chaotic, but as soon as you walk through the door you're greeted with complete peace!

Breakfast was excellent and our room was supplied with bottles of water and fruit every day.

Airport transfers were arranged smoothly and recommendations for dinner were perfect!

Having experienced this place, I'm pretty sure that when I'm next in Marrakesh, Riad Kniza will be where I'll stay.

I had high expectations based on the TA reviews. The place is beautiful and they very kindly upgraded us to a suite since it is off season. Unfortunately, we must have stayed there on an off night. Service was anything but amazing. When we returned for the evening we asked for a wine key. The front desk said a waiter would come up and open the wine for us. Twenty minutes later we still had an unopened bottle of wine. I went downstairs to the front desk to find staff hanging around chatting. I got a wine key and opened the wine myself. Next we asked for a fire in the fireplace. That was done promptly but when we called for more logs (since none was left for us) we never received the promised delivery. In addition the manager said that there were no instructions on how to use any of the facilities or menus because you just had to ask and what ever you asked for would be taken care of.. Well we had two very simple requests and both were not taken care of. To make up for the lack of service the manager had a staff member roll our luggage to the taxi stand for us. We had much better service at other Riads we stayed at throughout Morocco without the price tag.

Riad Kniza is absolutely gorgeous! We were greeted with mint tea and treats during check in before touring the premises. From the various relaxing sitting spaces, to the serene spa pool, to the restaurant and rooftop, this riad is absolutely breathtaking and picturesque. Our room in a junior suite was spacious but cozy with wonderful light flowing in from the courtyard. After ordering a glass of wine to the room, I didn't even want to leave for dinner! We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant before venturing out for the evening to the square. Breakfast on the rooftop in the morning was extensive and delicious. I was so sad to only enjoy this place for one night. Our next trip to Marrakech, we are staying here for the long haul!

Room tip: The junior suite is to die for!
