It was market day- and all the locals were shopping. The most realistic experience so far. Not touristy. Streets are fascinating and show real life

if you want to see how leather is treated then you have to visit this place. It smells terrible but a very good experience.

You might just as well, it was interesting to see where the Jews live and their place of worship. It's a shady neighborhood with narrow alleys, dirty and smelly. There were a lot of tourist when we were there in the courtyard and in the church, must have been an important day or something for the Jews.

Not worth the visit. The Mellah in Marrakech is dirty, overrun with cats and homeless people however the temple (with a mikve) in the Mellah is interesting.

Stumbled across the Mellah on a walk out. Got toalking to the owner and a server very knowledgable about their wares and football! Given a very nice mint tea on the first visit and a herb tea on the second visit. If you want spices this is the place to go. They also have an email address.
