Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

“a cool escape”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

was a relaxing afternoon in the cool shade of the gardens, interesting to see the Versace house! the café was quite expensive so instead had mint tea back at the riad on the roof terrace

“Even our teens appreciated it !!”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

Price would be the only reason to mark this down, its 50 Dh each which is cheap by European standards but on the high side locally. This is a haven though, take a book and laze around in the gardens ... sadly we have teens with us so lazing around in lovely gardens is not an option, but even they loved these guardens with the flowers, cactus and water features.

A must see in Marrakech.

“Incredible let down.”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

You can not spend more than half an hour here as there is so little to see but several species of caciti and palm trees. The Musee Berber housed on the same site, which attracts it's own entry fee was also an emphatic let down - other than a few cool berber costumes. For a park experience, try the Arsat Moulay Abdeslam Cyber Park instead.

“Tiny and overrated.”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

After all the hype we expected more from this than a 20 minute walkabout - albeit in a relatively calm surrounding. If you are a fan of cactii, or a fan of defacing plant life with random visitors/tourists names then go visit.

The berber 'museum' housed in the jardin majorelle was also an anticlimax, it holds a few interesting costumes and little else of note. In short - avoid this majorelletdown!

“Cool and calm...”
Reviewed August 7, 2014 via mobile

Spent around 2 hours wandering around these peaceful gardens. Was a welcome break from the seriously hot heat. Loved the YSL Love gallery-included as part of your entry fee. The prints were fab. Cafe quite expensive...skip and visit one of the cafes outside the gardens instead.
