Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

“Beautiful, but crowded”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

The gardens are stunning and the Berber museum is very interesting and informative, but it is very busy.
Unlike other gardens in Marrakesh, Majorelle is much more sculpted and landscaped and it shows with the number of people there. Great for photographs, but you will have to accept crowds of people in every frame.
personally I preferred the museum to the gardens. The jewelry and costumes were superb and gave an insight into traditional life in Morocco.

“beautiful.”

Gorgeous gardens top escape the smoke and hustle of the city. Get a taxi though as it's quite a way from the centre.

“Peace and tranquility”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

The colours, the water, the sitting areas, the plants, the quiet and the beautiful courtyard area for coffee/lunch. And it also contains a very good museum on Berber culture

“Worth a visit if you want a relaxing day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

The price for the gardens is 50Dh and 25Dh for the museum. The garden itself is beautiful, it's nice if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the main square for a few hours. Here you can have a wander around and take some stunning photos.

I feel that the Berber museum located inside the gardens is absolutely worth paying the 25Dh, it's small but still fascinating and rich with cultural Berber artefacts.

In a nutshell if you're going to visit any of the gardens in Marrakech, this one should be at the top of your list.
