Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

loved everything about it. neat, bright, eclectic mix of trees and shrubs from around the world. bright blue painted low walls and pagoda set off the green of the plants superbly. berber museum worth paying extra for as it is well laid out, informative and modern

“Poor and full of tourists”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013

We thought this would be a tranquil spot in a busy city, in fact it was body to body tourists moving along at a snails pace too many people in at one time couldnt even really stop to take pictures as people wanted to move along. dissaponting

“Art Deco feast for the eyes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2013

This is a really beautiful place. I have never seen so many different cacti - some of which look incredible lethal! The building itself is superb and the jewellery section of the Berber museum is very inventively done with myriads of tiny lights which make you feel as through you have walked through a mirror into a different world.
Nice café - though the fruit juice is hugely expensive.
The shop is a bit snooty and over priced. Also I would recommend going early in the morning because it gets really busy.
