Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

“Blue is the colour”

Fabulous oasis of cacti and cobalt blue pots. Small and despite the crowds quite peaceful.
Cafe is a welcome stopping place.
The Berber museum is also worth seeing

“Gorgeous garden”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

Small but beautiful garden. The greens of the palms and plants contrast with the vivid Majorelle blue buildings. Great variety of plants which are are well labelled. Less crowded in the early opening hours or late afternoon. The Berber museum is well worth seeing: small but has wonderful displays of Berber life and culture. Has a cafe, bookshop and Yves Saint Laurent shop.
Taxis back to the centre of Marrakesh are organised by a steward. Agree the price before you get in a taxi: we were asked for 60 Dirhams by the first driver, but got another for 20 dirhams, which seems to be the standard (tourist) price for a taxi anywhere in the central area of Marrakesh.

“Colourful”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

This garden is carefully laid out with excelleny=t use of colour on the pathways and plant pots. There are some lovely vistas which make for good photography Within this landscape there is a wonderful, small Berber Museum with beautiful photographs, and objects of Berber life from cooking pots to exquisite jewellery and clothing.

“Great small garden and interesting Berber Museum”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

The colours and planting in the garden are delightful and the small, manageable Berber Museum made a great visit on a rather wet day.

“Beautiful Garden”

A lovely garden, not huge but very beautiful. Amazing cacti and palms and just lovely to sit and take in the uniqueness of this little oasis. Well worth a visit.
