Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

When you first enter this walled garden the color scheme sort of jumps out at you - IKEA blue and yellow prevail. After a few minutes it grows on you. The arrangements of desert cactii and succulents mixed with water features and palm trees is very creative and pleasant. The place feels like a cross between art deco and a Peter Max poster.

The cafe is great. Stop in for a drink or try the argan oil and almond ice cream. You probably won't find this anywhere else.

We visited Jardin Majorelle as part of a museum tour during our vacation in Marrakech. The garden was beautiful and full of vibrant colors. We enjoyed walking around this peaceful place and took time to sit on a bench and take in the lush surroundings. It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Had a lovely couple of hours at the Jardin Majorelle. One of the easier things to find in Marrakech, just a short walk outside the Medina walls.

There is a beautiful (but expensive) YSL gift shop inside as well as a gallery. The Berber Museum inside the gardens is also well worth a visit.

If you want to combine the gardens with a horse drawn carriage ride, its ideal as there are plenty just at the end of the street.

These gardens are really fun, with glimpses of bold splashes of colour, lovely water features and lots of bamboo and cacti. We paid to go in the small Berber museum as well which was quite interesting but I wouldn't call it a must see.
