Owner description: Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

Plants from around the world in a peaceful setting with wonderful colours and the light from the sun pearing through the leaves of the overhead plants.

“Peaceful retreat..”

From the mad rush and noise that is Marrakech. Relatively small so can get quite full of tourists. You will remember the "majorelle Blue" colour for the rest of your stay.Expensive boutique inside and small book shop.

“Top attraction of Marrakech!”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

My boyfriend and I went to the Majorelle Garden on our first day in Marrakech. It was one of our best experiences in Marrakech. The garden is not very big, but lovely. The blue and yellow colors of the buildings, bridge etc. made it a magical experience, typically Moroccan. I wore an orange dress and the contrast of the colors led to wonderful photos. Also, the Museum of Islamic Art is absolutely worth the visit. What I find strange is that it's not really a muslim museum. It should be called ''the Berber Museum'', because it focuses completely on the Berber culture. Nevertheless, the museum was great! There is one room with Berber jewellery and when you stand inside it's like you see millions of stars in a black sky. Very impressive!
