When i landed in Morocco, i had no idea what to expect. This riad was the first place i chose to stay at. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a style that takes you back to the time of the Arabian Nights. All the small details are carefully chosen and the overall effect is pleasant. The owner is very friendly and can direct you to the best places in town and she can make arrangements for day tours. The breakfast, although rather poor, is fresh and tasty.
On the down side - the medina is dirty, crowded and pollution from the motorbikes at rush hour is choking. The walk to the even more crowded is long and annoying since there are no sidewalks, just a common road where people, motorbikes, cars and donkey-drawn carts meet in a chaotic movement.
