Palais Riad Azukar is a beautiful Riad very well located in the old medina of Marrakech.
Azukar, is an oasis of tranquility and peace and you will not feel to be in the buzzy Medina, this will help you to relax after a hectic day of shopping in the zouk. Rooms are big enough and clean. WIFI is very good throughout.

The Riad has very easy access as not very small alleyways to get there. Just 50 meters away you will find a little square with vehicle access so no problem to get there by taxi and If you rent a car there are a few parking around too.
The amenities and services you get are sufficient and good for the money you pay for it.

In my opinion, the best part of the Riad is the excellent costumer service you get. Ahmed, Saida and Rachid will go an extra mile to make you feel at home and your stay as comfortable as possible.
MUST: trying Saida's cooking and the hammam :)

I will highly recommend this Riad for its location and accessibility as well as for the excellent costumer service given by the staff.

This is a great little Riad! It was absolutely perfect as a base for our group of 18 (we booked all the rooms!) and it provided a perfect oasis of calm as a welcome break from the heat of the city.

We didn't actually meet Carole the owner during our stay but she was very helpful in the run up to the trip answering my thousands of questions very promptly. Amine, Ahmed and Sonya at the riad were great at looking after us and always smiley and friendly. Amine speaks good English, Ahmed some English and a working knowledge of French will be useful to speak to Sonya who seems to do everything from cooking the food and cleaning the rooms to providing the very good massages! A real wonder woman!

The rooms were comfortable with efficient and quiet air conditioning. Some of the bathrooms were a little bit smelly but ancient medina plumbing cannot really be helped and it didn't detract from our stay. The food prepared by Sonya was wonderful and she took requests for breakfast too when some of our group fancied yoghurt and fruit instead of the usual arabic pastries.

The staff at the riad were very helpful with arranging taxis and trips for us and the airport transfers all went without a hitch. The location is brilliant as so many sites are an easy walking distance and with many bars, cafes and restaurants only a stone's throw away, it was perfect for us.

The pool and roof terrace are lovely and perfect after a day in the heat and the dust. The cool courtyard with its orange trees and beautiful decoration is perfect for an afternoon snooze on one of the many couches I would certainly return to this riad in the future and can highly recommend it!

It's not 5 star luxury but for the amazing price it was a little piece of paradise!

Room Tip: Cha Cha is the quietest room, Bahia is the biggest.

What a horrible riad, we booked this for. A large family group with children and it was not suitable at all. The owner gave false representations about where the riad is located how it is accessed and that it is not suitable for children at all. The breakfast was minimal and horrible cold as well. The manager was rude and not welcoming or helpful at all. The owner does not respond to any calls or messages or issues that we had she did big even try to resolve it. The riad is located in a downtown alleyway which is dangerous to get to no cars can drive through and only carts and motorcycles drive through we had children with us and we had to all through this dangerous riad for 5minutes while our luggage was carted to the riad, we were not told about this and it was terrible. The decor is nasty looks like a brothel, the children hated it and everything was dirty even the towels and the smell was awful! We had huge problems with a or conditioning which didn't work - we needed up moving to another hotel due to the-lack of service and amenities.

I would not recommend this to anyone and the owner should be reported

We spent our last 3 nights in Marrakech at Palais Riad Azukar. We were a bit disappointed by the general atmosphere of the place (weird LED lamps, disturbing music...), the quality of our room (window did not lock, room was absolutely not sound proof, dark and smelly...), the quality of breakfast (we had breakfast at 4 different places, this one was the least satisfying) and the service/communication (my French is not too bad, but yet I was not able to communicate with the women working in the Riad, men was no problem). That being said, Amine and his male colleagues were very helpful and the tangine was very very tasty! The location of the riad is also very convenient, with a great rooftop terrace.

Room Tip: The rooms on the first floor (away from the swimming pool) are more quiet.

We stayed at the Road two nights and we had a really nice stay there. The location is really good for exploring the city but the Road is a little bit hard to find at the first place. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They help out if you have any questions and also open the door when you are arriving in the middle of the night.
The breakfast is okay and the tee is delicious. We had dinner at the riad and the main menu was a Tajine with chicken. It was the best Tajine I where are and we didn't found one who is nearly as good as this one was.
The room was okay, a little bit stuffy and the water takes a really long time before it went warm. Also it is a little bit loud when you haven't a room on the first floor and people having breakfast. But normally it was calm there and also the rooftop was nice.
We enjoyed our stay.
