We had an evening meal at the Kasbah Cafe on 26th November. It was too cold to go onto the roof terrace but were lucky enough to get a window table on the first floor. The (complimentary) 'amuse-bouche' that we had was a small bowl of soup that was as good as a starter. We had a very straightforward main course of an omelette which was very tasty. The sweets we had were described as fruit tarts, but were stacked layers of fruit, cream and crisp pastry, much nicer than what is usually thought of as a tart. The staff were very friendly and obviously enjoyed their work.
All-in-all a very pleasant and good value evening.

We really enjoyed escaping the hustle and bustle of the city on this roof terrace.
The chicken pastille was gorgeous, recommended if you like sweet savoury.
Would definitely go back.

We went to the rooftop cafe for pre-dinner drinks - quite prepared for there to be no alcohol, but the non-alcoholic options on the menu looked fine. Sadly everything we chose, they didn't have. I asked for the alcohol-free beer: 'not available'. I then tried several fruit juices listed, and was told they were all unavailable because the fruits were 'not in season' (hard to believe of water-melon, which my hotel had given me for breakfast). Left with a choice of orange or lemon, both of which I'd had enough of that day, I ended up with mint tea - again - and not particularly good mint tea at that. It is annoying when menus promise things which are not available, and probably haven't been for some time.

We searched for the nearest restaurant on TripAdvisor from our Riad whist it poured with rain and decided on this one and overall we are glad we did. My soup was perfect and the lamb Kasbah style was to die for! The two of us eat two courses, with coffee and soft drinks and it was 505Dhms but this was the most expensive items on the menu.

Well done Kasbah ;o)

The food was excellent, especially the lamb tajine. Atmosphere is good and the staff are friendly. The brochettes are good and tasty but perhaps could be a bit more seasoned but terrific harissa to make up for lack of seasoning in the brochettes.
Awesome place, just a little bit expensive but will go again probably.
