There are a ton of Riads in Marrakech and choosing one can make your head spin! Now after being there and understanding the city, I fully recommend Riad Melhoun. As with many other reviews, it is a great Riad with a beautiful courtyard, nice rooms, and fantastic staff who go out of their way for you. But the reasons I would recommend it over other Riads to anyone going is because of it's location and food. Its location is ideal in a busy, crowded city. It is extremely close to a taxi area which is key if you want to go anywhere outside of the Medina. It is also two turns off of a main street which takes you directly into the main square. It is impossible to get lost! No guide needed. As two females we felt it very safe walking back at night.
Finally, and I can't stress this enough, the food was amazing! It was the best meal we had in the 10 days in Morocco. I even tried ordering the same meal to compare and nothing came close. We had the Moroccan Salad and Kefte Tangine. Don't hesitate, stay here just to eat here!
