“Good time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

The colors, the sounds, the smells, the variety....all wonderful. The only downside was all the motorbikes. It is all a bit of game. Buying something and thinking you made a good deal lasts only as long as it is until you see the same thing somewhere else and find you can get it there for half as much! It is nice to have most things in their own areas - easier comparing etc.

“Fantastic Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Loved the Souks. We got lost on several occasions, but that was part of the charm of the place. Amazing to see all the different craftsmen at work. It is actually more fun when you get a bit off the beaten track and get into the local areas (such as the food markets) where there are not so many tourists.

Watch out for the mopeds and donkeys - the traffic just seems insane to anyone from the west.

“Amazing Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

I never thought I'd be in a place like this...it is magical! The stores and their colorful wares are eye candy. It was not as intimidating as I thought it would be. Bargaining was actually fun! Remember, always counter offer with 1/3 of their asking price and you can't go wrong. If they refuse...walk away! You will always find more treasure in other stores!

“Out of this world!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

The souks are amazing - so much to see. It is worth having a guide (e.g. from Travel Link (tel +212 (0) 524424880) to take you round initially. This both helps to get orientated and also to go deep into the souks to see some of the inner workshops. Great fun haggling and the stall holders are all very friendly (they all offer the best prices too!). Just go with the flow and enjoy
