“Terrific personal collection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2014

This small museum, the personal collection of Bert Flint, a Dutch anthropologist, is a very good insight into tribal life through the artifacts on display. Everyday objects, some superb textiles (our personal interest) and other utensils. We were lucky when we were there last week because we were able to have a chat with Mr Flint, now quite elderly, and he revealed that he has an enormous collection of textiles & that he is trying to get anyone to support the founding of a specialist textile museum in Marrakech to house them. Falco Java's 30 minutes wouldn't have been anything like enough for us, we had to leave after 90 minutes because he was closing for lunch!

“Interesting little museum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2014

Took a while to find but this little museum was very interesting and well worth the entrance fee (20 Dirham). In a lovely building with pretty courtyard, it had exhibits from Saharan life, with a guide book in English to borrow.
