“Incredibly interesting and beautiful setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

The museum was full of such stunning Moroccan art artefacts. The only downfall to this was the captions to the pieces often didn't have dates.

Inside the museum there were also guides who were more than happy to go into great detail on the building itself, as well as the beautiful items on show (of course, they would expect a small fee for this but it's worth it!)

“Great architecture”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

Wonderful buildings with excellent ceilings and a fantastic internal courtyard with fountain. The items on display are very interesting particularly the photos of people in traditional dress.

“A little museum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

Very nice buildings and architecture, but not a lot of museum which was disappointing. Highlight was excellent calligrapher who wrote out our names in Islamic script - beautiful.
Beware- this place is in the old town and cannot be reached by taxi - so have to walk. Signs not very good and we were led the wrong way by a 'guide' who met our taxi and offered to show us the way. Not a good exprience.

“Classical beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

If you`re visiting the Museum of Moroccan Arts in Marrakech, you will first notice the beautiful calm that this place has. It`s also very good and helpful if you want to learn new interesting things about Moroccan culture. The combination between the design and the informative side really makes visiting this museum a one of a kind experience. The building is not very big, and one the great part about it, is the fact that it`s usually quiet, and not as crowded as other places. To sum it up, going to the Museum of Moroccan Arts is, in my perspective, a learning and spiritual visit.

“Lovely week in Marrakech”

Nice place to visit and to learn a little bit more about the Morocco culture. Thought i was expecting a little bit more on the cultural side and on the articles exposed.
