“Great landmark”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

There are a few mosques in the area, but this one is distinctive enough that it is a great landmark. Watching out for it helps to determinewhere you are!

“Quite pretty from the outside”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Looks nice from the outside, but would have been good to see inside. I'm not sure what the problem with mosques and non-muslims is in Morocco - I have visited mosques in other countries (e.g India) and there was never any problem with it. The gardens behind the building are quite nice but nothing to write home about.

“Mosque”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

The mosque was nice from the outside but was not able to go into it as they would shut down after prayer times.

“Impressive and imposing structure”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

It would be great to be able to see inside the mosque to 'feel' the spirit of Islam that is all around.

“A pretty mosque in an interesting area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Beautiful minaret and adjacent to the very interesting Saadian Tombs. Non-moslems cannot enter the mosque but the surrounding area is well worth a visit, as are the tombs.
