“Small nice museum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

The museum is not big so with reading of all the information you need not more than 30 min for sure. The main hall is nice and some interesting typical Moroccan architecture (if you haven't seen any other Morrocan museum yet). I wouldn't put it on "must seen" list of Marrakesh but its a nice place to relaxe if you are annoyed by the markt atmosphere of medina.

“Put on to do List”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

This Museum of Marrakesh was quite worth the visit. Well laid out with some nice display. Cost was approx 50dhr which hopefully goes towards improving total display.Tile displays were outstanding with centre display somewhat futuristic… not quite sure where that came from. Our guide took us there so assume on the standard tour trail.

“Peaceful Museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

This museum is mostly in French. If you English is your language then I advise you study up on the museum before you go or get a guide.

The large room in the center is the main draw of the museum. The tile and open space give you a moment to sit, relax, and take in the room. There are paintings on the wall, a small history museum, and a vendor who will write your name artfully in Arabic.

The entire place will take about 30 minutes to complete.

“The building outshone the exhibits”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Truly stunning. You have to get the combined ticket with the Madarsa Ben Youssef, which makes it good value and they are both beautiful.

“Without a guide we spent 10minutes”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

Not worth your time, more of Marrekech you will find on the narrow streets of Medina. Not too much stuff inside, only some paintings on the wall. maybe it should have been the building but without a guide we did not feel what to look for
