This is must-see visit in Marrakech and very cheap. Although you might not know at exactly who's tomb you are looking at you cannot fail to be impressed by the carvings and tile works. Preservation has been done very tastefully.
Even when a lot of people are visiting the reason of the location always seems to be respected.
Oh, and be careful, there is a tortoise that seems to scuttle along at an amazing rate of knots!
Not to be missed next to the Kasbah.
The tombs are beautiful and are worth a visit if you are in marrakech for a while. If you are on a short visit, I would recommend some other sites.
That being said, the architecture is lovely and i thoroughly enjoyed my visit
The tiles were beautiful and the grounds were well kept. There were cats everywhere cooling off by laying atop the tombs. It's a small place and probably takes about 30-45 minutes to visit. Worth a visit if you're in the mood for beautiful tiles, history, architecture, and friendly cats.
Nice to see if you are around. It is small and no guide is nessesary. Hot in the middle of the day. Kind people.
I continue to be surprised at how well the sites are kept in Marrakech. The history of the tombs and their value as examples of the art of the times is top quality. Another gem in Marrakech.
