just returned from one week at this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised at how well kept the hotel was. Big pool with plenty of room for sunloungers. Nice grounds for walking around. Food was tastier than expected and had a reasonable selection. Bar service was excellent, always plenty of staff on hand and never had to wait for longer than a minute to get served. Most staff very friendly. Room was a good size and what you would expect for a 4*. Sunlongers did go quickly in morning ABOUT 7.30ish so be prepared to get up early if you want one around the pool. Evening salon and Zanzibar were both well kept and comfortable to go into in the evening. Animation team evening shows were poor so don't expect too much and then you won't be disappointed. Overall good hotel with good position for marakech centre. There are no nearby bars to wonder to and the roads and pavements are very poor. People live very poorly so expect the odd person begging. visiting the centre is an eye opener and best done on horse and cart rather than by foot (less hassle from people).

Room Tip: Rooms next to the pool are great if you have kids, they are also next to pool restaurant etc. Rememb...

Fab hotel, lovely friendly staff especially Pablo the manager and Wafa behind the bar. Food was exceptional and varied. Lots of Moroccan tagines but also pasta, omlettes etc for the less adventurous. Lovely rooms, very clean. My only criticism would be the sunbeds and I hate to admit it but it was mainly the British that were putting their towels on at 6.30am then going off until 2pm in the afternoon resulting in some poor guests having to sunbathe on the grass.
We met some lovely people and will definately be returning :)

We stayed for a week from July 29 to August 5. The hotel itself is very attractive and set in beautiful gardens. Food and drink it plentiful and of a high standard. There is plenty of variety at all meal times and I think you would have to be very picky not to find something you like each day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was large, spotlessly clean and a lovely cool haven from the blazing sun. The hotel pool was also very nice although it does get busy but not so much that you cannot enjoy it. If there were a further pool this place would be even better. This is a family friendly place so if you want tranquility it is not ideal as there is a fairly high proportion of kids. Still, everyone was very pleasant and we had a nice time. I would also recommend Mohammed's Choop, the shop just outside the main hotel gates. It sells everything the hotel shop sells but much, much cheaper.

If I wanted to be hyper critical I could, there were a few broken tiles near the pool area and the vegetarian food option was mainly stewed veg and rice, more accompliments not a meal, this said the rest of the hotel was fab. All the staff were polite, happy and will go out of their way for you, Pablo the manager is at most meals and have never seen such a hands on manager.
The animation staff work really hard and have a variety of activities throughout the day including arabic, volley ball, water polo but you are never under pressure. The pool area is lovely and the music is generic mainly instrumental and never loud.
Food was plentiful and as a picky eater did become a little samey but my hubby and kids never got bored of the endless options, deserts to die for.
We had an issue with a leaky air con and a locked safe but both were dealt with within the day and was never more than a slight irritation.
The sun beds!!! I blame the stupid people getting up at six am not the hotel, however we arrived at the pool after nine every day and always found enough beds for us, however shade is an issue and they need more umbrellas.
Would return in a second. Marrakech though is not for the faint hearted, traffic has no rules and beggars and traders can be a little daunting, however it is a different culture, we as a family loved every minute of our holiday.

Room Tip: second floor for better views

The hotel is spotless, set in lovely well tended gardens. The rooms are comfortable with everything you require. The staff are great, always cheerful and attentive. Food does get a bit repetative, but there is a lot of choice & it is good. The only bad point which was not the hotel's fault was the guide Thomson use for the trip to the medina, he would only let us shop at stalls of his friends or family no doubt getting a kick back from any sales. He also gave us a poliitical rant about the bad treatment of Muslims.

Stayed here for 1 week, 1st August to 8th August.

Very nice hotel, very nice staff. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.

Our first room (414) started to smell of sewerage and we complained, something was done but I don't know what until it started to smell again. This time we were moved to another room (450).

Apart from this the hotel was faultless. The food was mostly good with a varied selection every day apart from breakfast which was pretty standard.

The evening bar staff were all friendly & welcoming, Mohamed, Simo, Hicham, Wafa & Miriam deserve a special mention.

Room Tip: All very good

Excellent hotel and loved every second. Activities were fab and optional but great if you fancied more to do. Fabulous Anime team and the kids that were there were thoroughly entertained.

Some great night time entertainment and some interesting bits too... But a great, clean and friendly hotel that surpassed our expectations. Excellent value for money.

Just make sure you don't ask Sam, the rep, anything of much importance because:
A) he probably doesn't know the answers
B) he has the potential to look at you blankly then answer you as if he thinks he's explained it all and you're a little bit of a moron

Despite this, I'd definitely come again! Fab hotel and great hotel staff.
