Description: May be spelled Africa not Afrika. They have a Facebook page and multiple Google entries. Fusion African food in a lively, trendy cafe in the new town. Popular with "cool" locals and tourists. Young hip staff and very good value meals and fruit cocktails.

The service, the food, and the surroundings were amazing. The coziest cafe I ever visited in Marrakech, and I have been in Marrakech alot of times. The servant named Said were soooo nice and politely explained the menu, even though it also was in english.

Simply a wonderfull cafe

Great place for lunch. Very tasty food - it even came Africa-shaped! - , good service, nice atmosphere. Do not expect a restaurant. There are no cloths on the tables and the loo is very basic.

No coffee shops in marrakech, (that i know of) but this is the closest you will get. Friendly modern marrakeshi's sellin good food at equally friendly prices (4 drinks, salad, huge fish cake. 115dh) Fantastic relaxing atmosphere that all need once in awhile when visiting the red city.

We stumbled across this place when walking to our hotel one night. Its a very cool little place for coffee and drinks with a Rastafarian vibe. We didn't try the food because we had already eaten. On the night we visited there was a special music event going on with tons of local musicians jamming. It was an amazing experience to stumble upon this tiny place with about 30 musicians hanging out and playing like they were at someone's house or rehearsal space. We had great fruit smoothies and enjoyed the music. I would definitely like to return.

This place is quite unusual for marrakech, since the food it provides is very unlike the omnipresent tajines and couscous etc that are so frequent in the medina and elsewhere. The menu is short but very tasty, the prices are surprisingly low. The restaurant attracts the younger, more hip people, not unlike the owners. The music is very laidback, the atmosphere very welcoming. A definite must for the tired visitor of Marrakech.
