“Peaceful haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

We stayed here for four nights as part of our Ruby Wedding tour of Morocco. The furnishings are more modern than other riads we stayed in but just as comfortable and welcoming. Hannan is a treasure and nothing was too much trouble for her and knowing that Hussan was on the premises during the night gave a sense of security. I have to say though that I felt safe throughout all our travels in Morocco, both in the cities and as we drove from city to city. Our suite on the upper floor was very comfortable with our own TV and a lovely communal sitting area close by.The terrace is a lovely area to chill out in the heat of the day under the covered area
.We briefly met the owners who were there for a short holiday and they too were welcoming and friendly. As others have said the breakfasts were varied and plentiful and Hannan likes to offer the guests something different each day of their stay. We mentioned to Hannan the reason for our visit to Morocco and on the actual day of our anniversary she put a beautiful display of roses in our room, a gesture sanctioned by the owners we had briefly met. Such things go beyond what could be reasonably expected from a little riad in Marrakech and this and the beautiful meal she cooked for us later in the day are the reason for the 'excellent' rating. If we ever returned to Marrakech I would have no hesitation in staying here once again.

Room Tip: The 'purple' suite we stayed in was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

We spent wonderful time last week of April 2013 in Marrakech. It was probably one of the most memorable experiences we had so far. First we enjoyed the atmosphere of Jema El-Fna Place because it puts in action all our 5 senses (smell, touch, taste, hearing, sight), the quality of the pastries from Prince Pastry, somes hammam and massages at Marrakech Bath. Moreover we were so lucky to get the opportunity to stay at Alnais Riad for the quality of its location, hospitality, food and attention to details. We felt in love with the decoration of the place. The owner managed brilliantly the mixt between heritage and modernity pieces of design and furniture bringing to life the full Mariachi culture & tradition. If one day you have to visit Marrakech it is the must recommended place to stay.

We stayed for two nights in this beautifully decorated riad, a short walk away from Jemaa El Fna square in the centre of Marrakech. The rooms were individually decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, could not be faulted with 5 Star service from all the staff, who were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this beautiful riad after a day exploring all Marrakech has to offer.

My husband and I stayed a week at Riad Alnais. It is well located and within easy walking distance of the main sights. The riad is very peaceful with the sound of birds during the day.

Superp care and attention given by Hannan during the day and Hussain in the evening. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. There was only one other guest staying at the riad at the same time so we had sole access to the communal ares whenever we needed - we particularly enjoyed the sunny top terrace.

we stayed here with our four children for four days. The riad was well decorated with attention to detail and good variety of lighting. It had modern and comfortable furnishings.
The service was exceptional. Hanane and Houssam went out of their way to make us comfortable and offer any assistance when needed. They were very hospitable and made some lovely mint tea. Hanane cooked us a delicious meal of Harira soup and a large platter of chicken, lamb and couscous.
overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Hanane and Houssam!

Room Tip: We stayed in three rooms, all were nice!

We didn't know what to expect but were pleased with this beautiful Riad. We were the only guests for the first few days & enjoyed the calm & peace of the area. Little sparrows/birds fly around and are a beautiful sound at sunrise & sunset. Breakfast was very good and varied.
Hussain & Hannan who looked after us couldn't do enough. They were so lovely. Hannan spoke very good English, Hussain spoke french and we got by with some English too; our t.v. wasn't showing English channels & Hussain went out of his way to sort it. Hannan guided us to the local shops.
The only thing I felt was the area was in small narrow streets/allys and I was a little chlostrophoebic at first, but like my husband said 'it feels like we're living like the moroccans!

Room Tip: Two rooms on the second floor have a nice relaxing sitting area with T.V.
