My wife and I booked this hotel on a half board basis, discounted through one of the travel websites, with the intention of doing absolutely nothing in the sun for five days. We couldn't have picked a better location. The room was very comfortable, the pool excellent and the food varied and plentiful. We considered a trip into the city but the atmosphere at the hotel won and we stayed put. We like to engage with the staff wherever we go, and with enough French to get by on found this very easy to do given that it is Moroccos second language. All of them, from the guys tending the gardens to the F&B manager could not have been more pleasant, helpful and happy to oblige so I'm surprised to see any adverse comments - maybe you reap as you sow?

I did not see any difference between the treatment of clients on different deals: the poolside staff served all as far as I could see. We, as 'package' clients, certainly got very well looked after.

I suspect a lot of confusion can be avoided by being clear about the deal you have got: the rooms are discounted, the food you have access to will vary according to your package but it's all good, and the bar prices are the same for all. European beers are pricy but no worse than in London, and bear in mind they've had to be imported into an Islamic country so there's bound to be a premium. Local beers and wines are cheaper and very drinkable, I can assure you.

I've marked location down a bit as it's about 15k from Marrakesh, enough to be a nuisance if you want to nip into the city - but the hotel car or taxis are always available.

Will definately go back.

Room Tip: A Superior room with sofa gives you a quiet bolt-hole out of the sun and a bit more room.

A fantastic hotel with excellent surroundings. Only one criticism but of a very serious nature; the ambiance bar had an extremely good waiter but two of the worst barmen that I have ever seen.
They seemed only interested in their male friends who arrived locally and customers were just a nuisance. Looking back on previous reviews it seems that I am not the only person who had that opinion.
the conclusion is that these barmen must have been related one way or another to Managers in the organisation or they would have been dismissed long ago.
For such a wonderful hotel to have such a weak point is really inexplicable.
The Ryad restaurant was truly exceptional and the service in the pool area was also of a high quality so why were these barmen so very very poor?

This was our first time to Morroco but we had wanted to go for some time and were looking forward to it albeit with a little trepidation; the comments of other tourists experiences in Marrakech being hassled constantly and aggressively at times were the concern. True to those comments we too all suffered the same unwelcome hassle and intimidation from locals to get money out of us in one way or another. Because of this we did not go back into the city but stayed at the resort Hotel which in contrast was a haven of peace and restfulness where we experienced excellent friendly service from all the staff, fantastic food, comfortable and clean rooms, making full use of the sun loungers, parasols and the warm swimming pool. the gardens and buildings were also very well tended and beautiful.
Overall this was an excellent holiday, very restful, the hotel gave excellent friendly service and fantastic food, but Marrakech disappointed.

we went to Pullman from the 15th till the 22nd of May. When arriving at 11 pm, we had to wait 45 min in the lobby. No drink offered nothing. We receievd the keys after 45 min and that was it. No explanation where the rooms were. After asking we finally found our room area, but no lights, so impossible to find the room. Godthank I have a good app. on my phone to make some light...
Very clean, comfortable room! Nice hotel, but so modern.. very cold as ambiance...
The breakfast was perfect, lunch and dinner also (we were all inn formula), but not very various in these 7 days. Nice swimming pool but..... noisy!!! Music day in day out at the swimming pool! from 06.30 am till 11 pm!!! very incomfortable. Forget it if you want to rest or if you like quiteness.
If nice wetaher... reserve your place very eraly or you can find "maybe" a chair.
Personel is very friendly and helpfull, but very slow at the bar!
Overall, a nice stay but music, music, music,....

Room Tip: Ask for a room far from the swimming pool in order to avoid music.

I'm intrigued by the negative reviews on here because we have just returned after a 4 night stay at the Pullman. The reception staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived and we were taken to our room in a golf buggy. Room was small, but very clean and the bed was very, very comfortable. There was a large walk in shower which was very good and we had a balcony and were surrounded by trees which smelt divine. Apparently the hotel was full (it's geared up to business travellers as well as holiday makers) but our room was very quiet and all we could hear were birds singing. We were there on a B&B basis and that was buffet style with lots of choice and I recommend the omelettes which are cooked to order in front of you. We ate at the snack bar by the pool a couple of times and that was good, not a huge choice, but did the job and we especially enjoyed the club sandwich and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Drinks were about the same price as the UK so no complaints there and the service was excellent. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we went out and about but on the night we arrived we ordered two salads (nicoise and Caesar) which they kindly covered for us to have a drink in the bar and we took them back to our room - these were fresh and very tasty so highly recommended.

If you can, get a day bed by the pool as these get taken very quickly. Once very small negative comment is the awful music played by the pool which got a bit annoying but that would be the only negative comment!

We can't wait to return and have had a wonderful few days, just wish we'd stayed longer...

We stayed in The Pullman from May the 5th till the 15th in all-inclusive and were overall very happy. We are Flemish Belgians, mid 40ies, with 3 children but they didn't accompany us. We found our 10 days so good that we seriously consider to go back the coming years. However we have some constructive criticism, things can namely still get better, though they are already very good. Following minuses are to be improved as we are concerned :
- the repeating 'muzak' around the pool is slightly annoying, please play original music and build in some variety
- there is an irritating difference between all-in and not-all-in : cans and bottles for not-all-ins, a limited choice of meals at noon at the pool bar for all-ins (while everything's available), not-all-ins get waited at the pool, all-ins not
- both pool bar and lobby bar are understaffed during quite some (busy) part of the day
- staff in Oliveraie restaurant is too reactive (this means not at all proactive...)
But we are overall very positive, this is a good hotel with very nice rooms, good food, very friendly staff and a beautiful and well maintained garden.

Overall good but service in bar appalling, not bad in the restaurant, pleasant garden, small but comfortable rooms, great bed, Check in desk good, very helpful staff. Drinks are expensive but that is the same all over Marrakesh. Drive yourself at your peril unless you quickly adapt to the local way! Use Taxis instead, fairly good.
