“Al Mudden”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

It hadn't rained for 6 months according to our taxi driver yet the course looked and played like Hurricane Hannah had just passed by. The fairways were soaked and the bunkers were just a muddy lakes and almost unplayable. The mechanical bunker raking had even exposed a lot of the pipework. What a shame the course was ruined.

“Keep out of the bunkers”
Reviewed September 30, 2013 via mobile

I played Palmeraie, Almalkis and Royal Marrakesh as well as this course.

This was my second favourite as the course layout was enjoyable and with the exception of the bunkers the course is well maintained. Well worth playing but.....

It is a course in a development and so there was no pro shop and much of the round you are playing alongside villa developments. Not noisy but ugly and unrewarding as a view.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good good. Choice of caddy (2x200) or buggy (400) or you can walk with a trolley. Quote long so our buggy choice was a good call.

“Average Course with Lousy Bunkers”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

This is a four year old course and at this stage it feels it. The fairways are quite good in places but very dried out and parched of grass in others. This is surprising as the course has huge water reservoirs for irrigation that form major water hazards on a few holes of the course. The course design is quite reasonable and some holes are pretty tough. The worst aspect of the course are the bunkers that are appallingly bad with hardly any sand and coarse stony bases. It is almost impossible to play a proper sand shot out of most bunkers. The greens are pretty good and well maintained. As a course I found this the least enjoyable of the four I played in Marrakech. The best of these was Jack Nicklaus course at Samanah Golf Club (not listed at this time by Trip Advisor) that was a great challenging design with excellent bunkers and greens. The fairways however were someone parched and did not have good grass in many areas. The other course that was good was Marrakech Royal Golf Club where the fairways were lush and ideal for hitting fairway woods.

“A lovely course, lovely people”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

I first started playing here a year or so ago. We decided to become members ( even though we don't live full time in Marrakech) not just because the course is a joy to play ( including the extremely difficult par threes off the back tees), but because the staff- the restaurant, the bar, the caddy staff, the front desk, all made you feel 'at home'. Some resort courses are a bit of a factory , and whilst here can get busy from time to time, sitting there on the terrace as the sun goes down , is pure joy!
