“Very authentic morocco”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

We stayed here (12 women) for 3 nights. English speaking manager Tim was very helpful with do's and don'ts and was excellent at arranging transport and trips. The other staff were friendly and looked after us faultlessly. Tim even contacted us in Casablanca to say money had been found in one of the rooms, so genuinely honest too. The breakfast on the rooftop and home cooked Moroccan dinner was memories to last a lifetime. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

We knew this would be a simple riad, and the staff were friendly and helpful and the location great. We were disappointed at the shabbiness of the riad and in some areas the dirtiness (eg filthy sofa in main "salle") really let it down. Our rooms were on the ground floor and felt a bit damp and gloomy. All this would have been fine if it had been very cheap, but we felt it was quite expensive for what we got (eg one dinner for 4 people, plus a few beers and soft drinks over 2 nights came to £80, and this is Morocco!). That said, the dinner was very good, although we all had to choose the same thing because the kitchen is small, so luckily we all like the same food. The only other negative, which was NOT the fault of the riad, was that our bedroom wall was onto the street, and some local boys were using it to play football against until late at night - not restful! - so I would suggest asking for a room which does not have a wall to the street.
The roof terrace was nice and a good place to watch the sun go down.

We stayed here for a girls a trip in February.

Brilliant location and food.

The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful.

The Riad Manager advised on local spots to visit and eat, going as far to act as a guide and book us into restaurants.

Would recommend for families, couples and groups.

Only negative would be the price of alcohol.

Would highly recommend!

We stayed 2 nights twice during our holiday in Marocco. Very nice place. Quiet at night despite the location in the middle of the noisy and busy Marrakech. The staff were extremly helpfull, and the manager Tim made us feel almost at home. Beautiful rooms, nice atmosphere. If ever in Marrakech again, we will be back.

This is such a nice riad. With so many to choose from, this one is really worth a visit and stay. It is very close to the main square, with only 10 minute walk away, it make take longer if you stop at all the shops along the way! The rooms are of a good size and have a nice decor. The rooftop of the riad is amazing, with stunning views of The Atlas Mountains. It is a real sun catcher, with plenty of shade if you need it. There are even two tortoises up there. The staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. They make you feel really welcome. The breakfast is good. If I return to Marrakech, I would stay here again, without a doubt!

We had a very pleasant stay with warm and friendly staff. We found Tim the manager to be very friendly and capable with a willingness to help with any question that was asked of him. We would certainly try to stay there, should we visit Marrakech again.

We had a wonderful stay at this Riad - the location was perfect and the bedrooms and communal rooms were very comfortable and well decorated. One of the best things about the accommodation was the welcoming helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. On returning to the UK I discovered I had lost a piece of jewellery, the staff hunted it down and sent it too my in a lovely little package. Will definitely recommend and return in the future!
