Description: PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.

“A gorgeous place for a good dinner, at an affordable price.”
Reviewed March 22, 2012

I work in Casablanca and I'm often on work mission in Marrakech.

Pepe Nero where I started since its opening, to invite my guests to dinner, was a pleasant discovery: Finally, a stylish restaurant, not pompous, with an elegant decor, impeccable and friendly service and, most important, a quality of food, both the Italian and the Moroccan, really of high level.

A gorgeous place for a good dinner, at an affordable price.

“Lovely setting, posh looking food, average tasting”
Reviewed March 21, 2012

Read the reviews and sounded lovely. It was very hard to get to, there were signs but it was downs roads you really wouldn't want to go. The place was beautiful, the staff were excellent, the food looked gorgeous, but it was average tasting. It cost around fifty pounds for the two of us, so not too expensive, but not cheap, I've had better food for less. Getting back to the square was awful. No signs to gt back, we got lost. Managed to find our way back, thank goodness. Average food made to look nicer than it was, but really lovely setting. Worth a visit, might be to your pallet more than it was mine...get a taxi home, don't risk getting lost.

“Escape from Morocan Food”
Reviewed March 21, 2012

The restaurant is looked deep within the souks. It is signposted, but the signs disappear and are replaced by a youth asking for money to show you where it is. The restaurant is beautiful inside, a traditional Riad, the food is Italian, but fairly bland with a very small menu. It was better than the Morrocan restaurants though.
