Marrakech is a wonderful place to visit! It is a chaotic and culturally very different to what we all take for granted. Behind the doors of the Riad Rafaele is a place of peace, calm and an escape from the heat of Morocco. It is hard to believe what is on the other side of the door!

We were collected and returned in a prearranged taxi from and to the airport. We would recommend this despite the difference in costs. The Riad is very difficult to access except by a knowledgeable driver.

The welcome we received from Didier (owner), Anass (manager) and staff was very warm and welcome! They supplied us with invaluable information we needed for our stay and made very useful recommendations. A guidebook and a map are essential to get the most out of the Medina. In the Riad Euro were the favoured currency

The Riad has a small number of very clean individual rooms with some well thought out touches. It is a real home from home with staff who are very keen to make your stay special. The top room is really something! It is very large, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable! If/when we go back to Marrakech we will plan to stay here again.

We wouldn't recommend Marrakech for young children. The thin streets are busy with people, carts and mopeds. Expect to be asked where you are going, and locals will try to show you for a fee. We tried our skills at haggling and came away with what we think are bargains. Marrakech is great for shopping but remember to leave space in your suitcase for it.

Good places to eat are there but you need to know where to look, as there are very few clues from the street side.

We really Marrakech and look forward to going back.

Room Tip: All rooms are really nice and individually decorated. The top room is really special!

Quaint, quiet Riad just on the outskirts of the main shopping souks in Marrakech. It is tucked away in a small alley, so be sure to recognize your surroundings and get your bearings before venturing out into the medina!

The welcomed us with mint tea and sweet purrs from the resident kitty Bashia. There are only a few rooms in this Riad residence, but they are clean and decorated in Moroccan culture. The middle portion is open to the air and is a nice place to enjoy morning coffee and evening tea.

The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating, assisting us with finding restaurants and arranging transportation.

We would definitely stay here again when coming back to Marrakech. InShaAllah!

This experience had all of the 5 star service with the exclusivity of a traditional Moroccan private home, you get to live the life of a wealthy Moroccan with servants at your beck and call 24/7 without having to endure hotel queues or dinner bookings, or sharing every space with lots of other travellers,

It really is a most wonderful experience, not only with the wealth of Moroccan authenticity but equally with the absolute feeling of luxury and exclusivity,

I couldn't recommend this strongly enough, a group of 4 of us visited in April 2017 celebrating my sisters 60th and we had the most wonderful time, so much so we want to go back next year for an even longer stay

We were not guests at this Riad, but stopped off for a drink and break from the bustle of the souks. We were looked after so well and nothing was too much trouble at all, simply a beautiful riad. I would definitely stay here myself next trip and recommend others to stay or even pop in for a drink.
