“Avoid like The Plague”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

We made the mistake of visiting this place having read the good reviews, what a big mistake! I am of Indian heritage and eat home cooked Indian food at least once a week. I am a frequent international traveller and I have eaten at Indian restaurants across the world from cheap eats to fine dining.

I can honestly say that the food at this restaurant is the worst I have ever had the misfortune of eating in my entire life. It was bland beyond belief, the meat so tough that it might leave you needing dental work and the vegetables and salad tasted weeks old. To add insult to injury the bill was way too expensive, more than likely necessary to cover the costs of the lavish decor. To top it all off I spent the entire night throwing up!

Please do not take any notice of the good reviews if you are an experienced Indian food lover as this food is terrible.

“Calming atmosphere...”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

After a tonne of couscous and tajines, we wanted to try something a little different. You reach the restaurant by walking through the beautiful hotel then up in the lift to the third floor.

The view is impressive and walking into the restaurant there is a wonderful calm, which makes a change from the constant crazy that is Marrakech.

Our curries were tasty enough, not amazing, but nice and the beer was cold and decently priced.

The calming atmosphere and excellent service, were the highlights for me. If you're feeling a little frazzled by Marrakech, I'd suggest giving this place a visit.

“Was this Indian food??”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

Ate there today after we were tagined out in Morocco. Food resembles Indian food but the flavors are lacking. Quite frankly it's ok as a break from the Moroccan fare but do not go in with high expectations. Nice ambience. Food gets a C- , ambience gets B+

They should get an indian cook.

“Great Indian food with good View”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

Had dinner here with my family and was a great meal. We love Indian food and were not disappointed. The restaurant is located on the top level of the Hotel Les Jardins de La Koutoubia located very near the Jemaa el Fna square. Good selection on the menu and the quality was good. We had a mixture of Chicken, Lamb and Vegetarian dishes with Naan bread and all were excellent. The restaurant was busy but the service was very friendly and timely. We had a table with a great view of the Kputoubia Mosque. Enjoyable evening and good value for money.
