“Fun filled day !!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

Michel is a wonderful host, and very entertaining. Learning about the spices and focusing more around the technique used to make Moroccan food rather than the ingredients ensures that you're paying attention to being able to recreate those wonderful dishes once you're home. If you like to eat, and want to learn how to make it, this is definitely the place to do it at. I only wished we had enough time to learn a few more things.

“Best Day in Marrakech”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2012

A must do when in Morocco.
Faim d'Epices takes you on a journey of senses, smells and flavours.
Greeted by an animated Michel whose love for the Moroccan cuisine is infectious.
From a spice smelling competition which creates a fun and entertaining atmosphere to the professional education on creating your own bread and tagine leads you with one of the most entertaining and enjoyable days.
If that is not enough you have demonstrations on how to make crepes and Moroccan salads.
You finish with a Grand Banquet with leaves all your senses stimulated.
Dont forget to dance and sing when Michel plays his drums for you.
Thank you again to Michel and his crew for a Memorable day.

“A Cookery Class ++”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2012

Learning how spices are used in Moroccan cooking and being shown how to make - and actually making - a tagine dish added an extra dimension to our visit to Marrakech . . . and Morocco. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel to the time we were returned we were thoroughly absorbed and entertained and guided in the ways and means of Moroccan food and cooking. And what's more we got to eat what we cooked plus a lot more besides. This worked out to be the best meal we had in Morocco. Just the best way to spend day if you have any interest at all in Moroccan food . . . . actually it's great way of spening a day even if you haven't.

“great place to get a break from the pollution and noice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

We had so much fun at the 'faim d'Epice' Altho initially sounds a little overprized from the morrocan standard, but i have to say it's worth it!!! We stayed in Morocco for a week, and we saved this as our last day activity. If you are tired of being followed and sick of the pollution and disorder of the city, this is great place to relax, exchange, to learn about the essential cultural part of Morroco through food and cooking!
Michel is very funny, thanks to him that i finally realised that, Relax, i am on vacation, despite the craziness of this city!

I will definitely recommend this workshop!

“had a relaxing yet fun day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2012

had a half day cooking class at Faim d'Epices. It is 15 mins drive away from the city center. It is away from the busy hassle and bustle medina. You need this quiet time after 3 days fighting in the souk. :)
Michel is a good host. He talked about the different spices and we made bread (hand-on), tajine and crepe. We had a lot of fun. I would totally recommend it to anyone.
