“nice hammam in the heart of Medina”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2013

we wanted to test an hammam in Marrakech, and chose this one as to be a good option between local vs fancy ones.
Treatment was good, skin completely regenerated after the scrub!!! also good the tea and relax after hammam.

“Pure heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

On our last day, we spent a few hours relaxing at Le Bain Bleu. You can hardly believe such a tranquil place exists amongst all the hub hub of the city. The tropical smells on entering immediately make you feel relaxed. Everywhere was spotless, the staff are very professional. If you are a bit shy, then be warned that the hamman is mixed. The massage was lovely and the whole experience was memorable for all the right reasons. Equally not an expensive few hours given the cost of a massage in most UK spas.

“Outstanding pampering in the secret Hammam”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

Ok it's not really a secret as it's listed as one of the best private Hammam's in the Lonely Planet guide, but it feel like it as you follow the labyrinthine narrow streets of the medina to find it.

This was a bit of a special treat for our 10th wedding anniversary trip to Marrakech.

We had a couples Gommage (body scrub) and 30 minute massage in this tranquil space. We were really pleased that the staff offered us a 30 min massage rather than the advertised hour long one as our budget wouldn't stretch that far.

I've never felt so relaxed or clean.

The only downside was some of the relaxing music played whilst we were pampered. There was definately a bit of Greensleeves and also Air on a G string (which will always be the Hamlet Cigar advert for me). Didn't put me off though.

“Gorgeous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2013 via mobile

A truly wonderful spa giving my girlfriend and I the best treatments we've ever had. It's very nice that couples can have their hammans together so as to share the experience. After cooling off in a lovely plunge pool we then had a fantastic massage followed by mint tea in the relaxation room. Part of the charm are the winding derbs that lead to the spa- it feels like a real secret garden. It is very reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend it to couples and single travellers.

“Fantastic modern hammam”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2013

Fantastic experience. Staff very friendly, and communicated well despite limited English (ours and theirs)... Smile goes a long way. Massage was great, mint tea nice and scrub in hammam thorough. We loved it. Hard to find find if it's your first day in Marrakech, for us it was day six and a doddle. For 10 dirham you'll always find a local to take you the last few yards if needed! Lonely planet top choice for a reason.
