After having a bad experience with a Riad with cats (i'm terribly allergic) in Fes, this was a huge breath of fresh air. We arrived to Jemaa el Fna at the absolute worst time for travellers (in the early evening) and were harassed all the way to the riad. However, when we walked through the door of the riad, we had an amazing experience. Despite the fact that I don't speak a world of italian and murder French, we were still able to communicate with the Manager. Throughout our stay, we had a wonderful time.

One warning, we stayed in the ground floor room (which was beautifully decorated and very clean) and when you flushed or if anyone else in the riad flushed, you got the lovely smell in the bathroom. We dealt with it by opening the window a crack and closing the bedroom door and that seemed to work.

If I ever get back to Marrakech, I will definitely stay here.

We stayed in Riad Caesar for 5 nights in April 2011 and very much liked it. In a small, quiet alley just 5 minutes from Jemaa el Fna (the central square) this mid-priced Italian-owned riad has just 5 individually decorated rooms set around an elegant, cozy courtyard that features a small pool. It's not overly luxurious, but very charming with attention to detail.

The rooms are spotlessly clean with good bathrooms; showers, not baths. Staff was very friendly, reliable, and helpful. Breakfast, which is a little different every day, is served in the dining room or, if you prefer, on the courtyard terrace.

The rooftop terrace has lots of plants and shade and is a tranquil place to relax during the heat of the afternoon. The restaurant sells wine, which can be hard to come by in the Medina. Wifi is free.

On the whole, highly recommended.

Wonderful Riad, in a super location. Day time staff go out of their way to help you. Some knowledge of French is an asset, but would not detract from your stay. Room are beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Interior courtyard is very beautiful. Getting to the Riad is fun but a challenge; be prepared to walk through the hustle of the square dodging the motor scooters and then down narrow alley ways. Staff came to meet us and helped us with our bags. Fun place to stay, well worth it and would stay there again.

Beautiful riad located a few minutes walking distance from Djemaa el Fna (the main square). This place marked the start to a wonderful holiday.

The owner Hussain was very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. His wife was also very friendly, and her breakfasts were among the highlights of our stay (you can tell we're real foodies!).

The rooms offer all the modern comforts and the roof terrace is just the thing after a long day haggling in the souk.

Excellent!

We stayed here our first and last night here during a first 4 night visit to Morocco. It is a real haven and Hussain couldn't have been more accomodating and helpful, he let us picnic with our own food in the dining room as we had had a long day and didn't want to go out again and even went out and brought us pizzas back. The rooms are all beautiful and the roof terrace delightful, we would certainly stay here again, as only 5 minutes walk from the main square yet so peaceful. Only gave it 4 stars for the sleep quality as beds are firm but just personal taste.
