Go right up to the top floor at dusk and watch the sun set behind the koutoubia mosque as you sip your mint tea. There are as many locals here as there are tourists, and the waiters are excellent. Best for a grandstand view of the night barbecue heating up.

“Very odd”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

I had been looking forward to eating here having read about the cafe. We arrived at lunchtime and were offered a table for 8 upstairs for our family of 8 .the kids were delighted as there was pizza on the menu and by now they had had one too many tagines ! However as we got into the restraunt one of the waiterrs set up a single table inside and downstairs and said we could sit upstairs only if we ordered tagine?!!! This seemed really odd so we said no thanks and made to leave . The origional waiter then told us to go upstairs and they started to argue. We decided to go somewhere else and ended up in cafe Bristol eating pizza and having a great view. Seemed very odd and the only time in our holiday we had anything other thatn great ,easy time.

“Expensive and not good. ”
Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

Went there on new years night. Menu was not good. Boring salad as a starter. Main menu was ok but really small plates. As desert we got oranges (the menu said fruits). The place is next to the market where you can buy lot's of different fruits. You pay for the view, which is nice. So only go there for a tea or coffee.

“Go for the view, not for the food”
Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

We went to the restaurant to enjoy, as recommended, the sunset because the view from the terrace is quite nice.

The overpriced food (menu of salad, main dish and dessert for 120 dh plus extra for drinks) and poor service (mostly due to lack of personnel at least during our 1,5h stay) made it a "there will NOT be a next time here" dinner, specially when there are other similar places nearby.

Nice place to stop and enjoy a coffee whilst watching the madness of Marrakech. Friendly staff. Spread over 3 floors
