Small charming Riad with great service. Simo was very helpful, he accompanied us everywhere and organized all visits in Marrakesh for us. I recommend visit to Atlas that they organize, it's perfect. We have never seen anyone so nice and helpful. I would go there again just for the service they provide. Very nice and clean rooms, perfect breakfast served on the terrace on the top of Riad. I recommend the transfer from the airport which is a bit more expensive than the taxi but much better. In the room there is ipod so you can listen to the music, there is no TV but you definitely don't miss TV in Marrakesh. I totally recommend this lovely Riad.

Room Tip: We stayed in junior suite purple and I recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here mid-December 2013 and had a wonderful time. The location is superb just a few minutes walk from the hustle-bustle of Djemaa El Fna. We received a wonderful welcome and great service throughout, And the owner Corinne even drew up a personal suggested itinerary. If we ever return to Marrakesh we would definitely return to Riad Cocoon.

We stayed end of March 2013 and can confirm all what others have said about the location and ambiance. As first time visitors to Morocco we found Corinne and her staff were helpful but not intrusively so. My wife and daughter are both vegetarians on a strict gluten free diet and the staff cooked wonderful breakfast breads from the flour we brought with us and then sourced equivalent ingredients locally. A really nice touch both useful to know for those on diets but also indicative of the care taken of us.

We stayed at Riad Cocoon the week before Christmas. We were made to feel very welcome; the staff were very friendly and professional. As an ignorant couple, their English was excellent.

The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful. The iPod loaded with a playlist was a nice addition, very thoughtful.

Breakfast was really healthy and filling; fresh fruit with yoghurt although a bit repetitive.

Just a note to those who have never been to Marrakech before, look for the signs high up on the left of the tiny twisty streets if you're going to the main square and don't be afraid if you get lost...ask a female shop assistant as you'll get directions for free!

Overall, a fantastic and memorable trip. Very well priced and would definitely come back.

Corinne, Simo and Tariq are perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Thank you for a lovely few days!!

Regards, Cathy and Richard xx

I would definitely recommend this accommodation. What impressed us most was the personal and friendly service we received. We were greeted by the owner, who gave us a suggested itinerary and advice on places to see and eat and usually met us on our return each day to enquire what we had been up to. It was more like being a guest in a private home than a hotel. They also arranged airport transport and taxis for us. Her team of staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were escorted out to a local landmark on our first day so that we would not get lost and escorted to restaurants, that we would never have found otherwise, in the evening.

There are ony 5 rooms, which again adds to the homely feel. Ours was quite small and a bit dark but comfortable and clean enough. The only disturbance to sleep was the call to pray at all hours but you would probably be disturbed by that anywhere in Marrakesh. My only critcism of the room was that there wasn't very much storage/hanging space for clothes.

Meals were served on a lovely sunny roof terrace. Breakfasts became a bit repetitive and were carb heavy but we did not go hungry. We ate dinner in on our first evening. The food was delicious but you need a hearty appetite as you can only order the 3 course set meal was too much for us. You need to give plenty of notice if you want to eat in.

The roof terrace was a lovely sanctuary to retire too when you tired of the dusty, busy streets, where you could feel in a world apart from the outside. There is also a small hamam in the riad, which we indulged in and thoroughly enjoyed. (Not cheap though.) There is a small pool on the ground floor and although it is an attractive feature I'm not sure that one would ever want to use it as it sort of in reception.

This riad is in a good location in the medina for visiting the souks and all the main sights of the old town.

Most people, we discovered, tend to stay in Marrakesh for a couple of days and move on and this place is perfect for that purpose. i would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: The best room is the one on the top floor which is larger and has its own private sun terrace.
