This took some work to find but was a relief when I we did since we needed a break from the hectic souk. It was also hot for February, so we appreciated the hats to shield us from the sun on the rooftop.
We had a very nice lunch; the penne eggplant was delicious, and even better paired with the grilled eggplant and goat cheese brioche. No alcohol but it's a fun place to hang out and people watch. Very Euro, not going to get a "Moroccan" experience here, but atmosphere and food make up for that.

We were quite looking forward to visit this restaurant as they have more than few good reviews on TA site also it looked nice on their own website. Unfortunately I was very disappointed.
The restaurant looks nice. Airy roof top, sort of modern place. However good impression ended at this point.
The food was really, utterly average. I'd say it's rather slightly below average. We had Lamb tagine which was far too sweet for our liking. We only taste prunes, honey and sugar. Other than that, no flavour..Even couldn't taste lamb. Lamb tasted like sugary prune !
Chicken pastilla was nothing special.at all, just so " ok ". I had much better ones else where.
Also ceasar salad. In fact, it was NOT ceasar salad. Ceasar salad, you must use crunchy romaine lettuce, Instead of romaine lettuce, they use round lettuce, that was definitely not right. On this soggy round lettuce, few cherry tomatoes, a couple of tiny boiled eggs and 2 oily slice of bread. Mixed with mayo dressing rather than ceasar dressing. They must not call this " ceasar salad ".
Service was grumpy, slow and unfriendly. I didn't see smile from the moment we arrived to the moment we left,.Not even once. It's quite unusual as people in Marrakech are generally friendly.
The bill was 400dh for just 1 main corse, 2 starter and 1 bottle of water. Far too expensive for the quality of food we had.
Do I recommend this restaurant to friends and fellow TA members ? NO.
Do I want to visit this restaurant again ? Definitely NO. Once is enough as we know there are hundreds great eateries in Marrakech where you can have fantastic food and friendly, warm service ( and pay much less )

We had the best slow cooked lamb in Marrakech after stumbling upon this restaurant. So much so that we returned again a day later. Visited late afternoon which meant a great sunset over the souks and it was fairly quiet. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere and the interior decoration are wonderful - inviting you to relax after the hectic medina experience. Loved listening to call to prayer while sitting on the low cushioned benches. It isn't cheap, but we found our tajine and couscous delicious and the servings ample, so it was well worth the price.

Go for the roof terrace and the view down into the spice market. Expect a small queue and slowish service
