“Nice!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Nice place to spend a few hours if you love Photography, are enchanted by Morocco and fancy some down town in Marrakech. Shame the cafe had run out of veggie food by the time we arrived.

“Fine photography added view of the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Old photos of what has changed and what has stayed the same. A great window on the history of the place, and a fine counterpoint to step into away from the thrum of the souks.

“Go and See”

This is a good exhibition with plenty to see and a great spot for lunch upstairs. It is also conveniently located next to an interesting part of the souk.

“Classy little gallery with a great tea place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

Its well worth visiting this museum early on in your stay to get a true picture of the old Morocco. Like most marrakech houses, the museum is built around a cool central courtyard. there is also a great little luchspot at the top of the museum where you can view the city laid out around you. Don't miss the little room displaying some highly unusual colour films of the people of the High Atlas mountains - made in the 1950s. Its well worth scheduling extra time for these - an extra hour. many people miss these but they were the highlight of my visit. On my trip I also visited the museum's outpost about an hour;s easy drive out of town - also worth checking out.
