Booked a last minute trip to Marrakech and found this Riad online. We were not disappointed. If you want to be in the middle of all the action whilst still being able to enjoy some peace and quiet then this is the place for you.
Down several dusty alleys through the market and into an unmarked huge wooden door and you find yourself in a beautiful, peaceful, marble floored delight.
We upgraded to the suite which I would recommend if you get the chance, lovely big bed and several comfy sofas as well as a terrace outside your door overlooking the whole of the city as well as the Atlas mountains.
The owner was away when we were there but telephoned several times to check we were Ok. The young lady left in charge was extremely helpful even though she spoke no English so a lot of miming and schoolgirl French were used, but she managed to advise us of taxi prices, where to get them etc and was always on hand to make drinks when we came in and cook evening meals if requested.
I followed previous advice and booked airport transfers as you really would struggle to find it on your own. However once there it is very easy to find your way around.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
