Have just returned from a few days in Marrakech - our first visit there. Riad Cannelle was a great choice! Adil and Badr arranged a taxi from the airport which was perfect as we may not have found this riad very easily! The welcome from Adil and Badr was warm, friendly and unobtrusive - perfect hosts! They are happy to give as much, or as little, information and guidance as needed. The Riad itself is clean and calm and has a great roof terrace as well as a comfortable courtyard (with blankets) for those chillier evenings. Great location for Souks. Go with confidence!

Can confirm all the positive comments others have made. A really nice Riad with great staff. An oasis of calm. We arranged them to pick us up from the airport, no cheaper than taxis but much more stress free. We also had a meal ready for us on our first night - best food we had in Marrakech.

An excellent place to stay, very helpful staff who couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely food, some of the best we experienced in Morocco. Go on the trip to the Berber villages in the mountains and visit the waterfalls- a peaceful break from the madness of Marrakesh!

Room Tip: The standard double room is OK for one person, or for a couple for just one night, but a bit samll f...

Don't be put off by first impressions of the front door from the side street - once inside it is a beatiful Riad opening up to a large and decorative courtyard - staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Highly recommend to have a meal at the Riad - lovely dining area with open fire and excellent personal service. The inclusive breakfasts were also very nice.
The room was very nice with authentic Morrocan decor which really made us feel we'd arrived!
The staff were on hand 24hrs a day and always willing to help with arranging any excursions, and recommending any attractions worth seeing.
The Riad is in a very good central location only 10 minutes from the market square, and the walk in through the local back alleys was always full of interest and local culture!
Recommend to take the transfer from the airport to the Riad on arrival which can be pre-arranged - it's cheap and will save alot of hassle!
All in all highly recommended and would definitely return if re-visiting.

Room Tip: Choose a suite which are excellent value.

Just returned back from an Oct 21-25 trip from a very friendly riad run by Adil and Badr. These guys make you feel very welcome and have great knowledge of the local areas, showing you around personally in order to help get your bearings. Souks are a 5 min walk and the Square around 15 mins.

The riad is a very serene place where you can escape the chaotic culture outside. We had a lovely 4 poster bed with lounge area and ensuite. The ladies who service the rooms leave them immaculate and even re-fold your clothes onto a clothes horse, should you leave them out. The outside surrounds as with most riads within the medina are juxtaposed with local life which on first sight seems a bit threatening but you soon realise its not the case.

We had an authentically cooked meal in the riad, but the best food by miles is in the square with the local guys who set up sausage and kebab bbqs every night.

The local restaurant that the riad recommended is extremely expensive - a fixed price of around £100 for 2 people vs a typical evening meal price of £20. However the spa that was recommended was amazing.

A wonderful riad for an amazing city

Riad Cannelle helped make our Marrakech mini-break absolutely fantastic. This lovely Riad is centrally located in Marrakech old town, just a short walk (10-15 mins) from the main square and souks. We stayed in the double room, which is the smallest in the Riad, and found it to be very comfortable and clean. The courtyard area in the Riad is peaceful and pretty, a lovely spot to relax and chat. The team working at the Riad could not have been more helpful or have made us feel more at home- they greeted us with tea and cake when we arrived, organised our airport transfer and a trip to the High Altas, and even walked out with us on our first day to make sure we wouldn't get lost. We ate at the Riad on our first night, and having requested a light dinner were treated to an absolutely delicious feast of Moroccan salads. We really had the perfect stay here, and would recommend it highly to anyone visiting Marrakech, particularly if you are looking for a relaxing and romantic break.

Very peaceful, clean & quiet. Well looked after. Adil and Badr went out of their way to advise us about dos and donts. Showed us around initially to get our bearings. Genuinely concerned for our well being. Centrally located in Medina, good sober decor including terrace with the option of excursions and airport transfer - airport transfers highly recomended. Stayed in Suite and was a grand experience.

Room Tip: All first floor rooms are good. Ground floor room may experience some noise as the breakfast is serv...
