This "hotel" is a converted riad with only 4 rooms! It was like having our own palace. The rooms were spacious and air conditioned -- that's important as it was it was over 40 degrees on arrival. The deck and plunge pool (though separated by 2 floors) were great for relaxing and cooling off. Though the neighborhood is nothing to write home about, the Baba Ali is a haven behind closed doors -- you are completely unaware of what's going on beyond the four walls.
We spent a week here. You could do Marrakech in a long weekend but the hotel was great for reading and relaxing while taking in Morocco at a slow pace.More
