A quiet and peaceful hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the old town but close enough to it to be able to dip in and out easily. Very attentive and friendly service. The rooms/cabins were clean, beautifully appointed and spacious. Would highly recommend staying here

We visited the hotel on 18-21 sept, to surprise my sister and brother in law who were out there already.
We knew it was going to be stunning but nothing prepared us for just how gorgeous it was!
The rooms are little circular huts with thatched roofs, beautifully decorated in a lovely clean Morrocan style.
The pool area is lovely, olive trees everywhere that u sit under for ur meals or to simply sit and have a nice cold beer! Lovely comfy sunbeds and complete peace and quiet topped off quite simply an amazing stay!
The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for u, so friendly, welcoming and keen to please, providing an excellent service to make ur stay stress free.
The toiletries in the bathroom are amazing too! Never smelt anything like it!
I cannot recommend this hotel enough if u are looking for a little treat, it's not cheap but it is worth it!

When we arrived in Morocco it was late at night and the vibrant city of Marrakech was an assault on the senses. We were promptly collected by a driver from the hotel who took our bags and waited whilst we exchanged our Dirhams. The hotel is located about 30 mins from the centre and the roads in Marrakech are crazy. As we were approaching the hotel we began to wonder where we were going as it is in the middle of nowhere and the roads are very barren.

When we arrived we were greeted right away by the staff who promptly took us and our baggage into our beautiful hut retreats. We had opted for the deluxe huts and they were gorgeous. The hotel had also prepared some tagines so that we could have some food after our long journey. The food was delicious and was a great start to our Moroccan adventure.

The rooms were spacious and a mix of contemporary and Moroccan design. The 4 poster beds were huge and very comfortable and the roll top bath and walk in shower were really luxurious. Each evening we would let the staff know what sort of time we wanted our breakfast and then as soon as we got up, a table would be ready in the lovely gardens for us to enjoy a peaceful breakfast with pastries, breads and mint tea.

The pool area of the hotel was a dream, so peaceful and quiet and the sun loungers were always prepared with towels, sun hats and umbrella’s should you want some shade. The shallow ends of the pool were great for sun bathing in and reading a book and there was plenty of room to do laps if you were feeling energetic. We generally skipped lunch as the breakfast was filling and we do not usually eat big meals at lunch time. We also took the opportunity to buy some snacks when we were in Marrakech so that we could nibble if we were hungry. It would have been nice to have the option for some lighter bites by the pool such as a sandwich but was a very minor suggestion in an almost perfect setting!
We preferred to go out for dinner in the evenings and the staff were always happy to make our reservations and arrange the taxis for us which was great. We ate at Le Comptoir, Bo & Zin, La Renaissance, Le Fondouk and Montecristo all of which we really enjoyed.

The service at Les Cinq cannot be faulted. The staff go out of their way to tend to your every need. One day we ordered a beer around the pool in the afternoon and asked if we could have this with lime. The drinks arrived and unfortunately they did not have any limes in the kitchen. 5 minutes after this one of the staff came back with a plate of cut limes and said he had walked nearby and picked some from a tree!!! (AMAZING!).

It really was a perfect setting and the best service we have ever experienced. I could not recommend this enough and would love to return some day. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so wonderful!

We stayed here sometime in January and we miss this place so much. Wish we could go back soon. It was just perfect...this place should be the last place to stay in Marrakech before you leave. it was just worth it! We love everything about it. We had the whole hotel to ourselves since it was low season after the new year. The cottage was well decorated, very good taste. The pool and dining room were beautiful. the waiters day and night were very polite, the manager was kind and the food was exceptional. Everything was exceptional actually! We didn't leave the property for the whole 3 days! Relaxing and quiet,so peaceful. Same as the comment below ... WE MISS IT EVERYDAY!

Everything about this hotel is breathtakingly beautiful, and I would give anything to go back tomorrow.

We arrived at around 11pm at night and were told some tagines had been prepared for us, in case we would like to have dinner. That got our holiday off to a great start and it just got better from there!

The staff are polite, friendly, efficient and literally can't do enough to help. One day, we ordered some bottles of lager and asked if they had any lime. They said they didn't, but a little while later a waiter returned with fresh limes for us that he'd been and picked from a tree! They are all immaculately dressed and are always smiling.

The breakfasts each morning were wonderful, and were eaten outside in the sun or under the shade of the trees in the gorgeous gardens around the pool, depending on your preference. The freshly squeezed orange juice was the best we'd ever had. Each day the waiters remembered what we liked to order, and bent over backwards to do everything you could possibly want.

The pool area is stunning, tranquil and comfortable, and there's probably no place I'd rather be. It took a day or so to get used to how peaceful and quiet it was, and once I was used to it, I could have stayed there forever. The pool is shallow at one end so you can sit in it to cool down in the scorching heat and admire your surroundings. Mid-morning, you are asked if you would like to order lunch as this needs to be done in advance, and then mid-afternoon, you are given the opportunity to order dinner. On the first day, we were brought a lovely Moroccan afternoon tea by the pool. They also do a delicious orange sorbet that's definitely worth trying. If we had one suggestion, it might have been good to have a member of staff attending to people around the pool more regularly, offering drinks and ice creams/lollies etc.

All the huts are absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in a deluxe sweet, but also spent some time in the regular suite on our last night before we flew home, and it was beautiful. The maids keep the huts immaculate and the toiletries provided by the hotel are lovely too. Each hut is slightly different, but they are all lovely.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but it doesn't matter at all as the hotel's drivers are wonderful and it doesn't take long to get to the medina by car. We would prefer to stay somewhere like this than to stay in the centre where it's busy and noisy. The only taxi trips included in our visit were airport transfers, but as the drivers weren't expensive, it didn't matter. All taxi trips were arranged via the hotel, so prices were always pre-arranged and fair. When you wanted collecting from wherever you'd been, you could call the driver to come and collect you and they'd be there in a flash. When we were flying home, I realised I'd left some clothes in the room in the hotel. One of the drivers brought my clothes to the airport for me; yet another example of this amazing hotel going the extra mile to provide fantastic service!

The centre of Marrakech provided a real contrast to this hotel, and we were so glad of that. Marrakech is full-on and the hustle and bustle is very tiring, but Les Cinq Djellabas offers the perfect spot for some rest and relaxation afterwards.

We will definitely return at some point...hopefully sooner rather than later. We couldn't recommend it more strongly - it's a must.

We found Les Cinq Djellebas as many others did, through another website promoting a discounted rate. Les Cinq Djellebas is based about 25 minutes from
Marrakech centre and airport. The road out to it certainly gets interesting as you get nearer, the tarmacced roads turn to desert and rocks. Upon arriving though, it is absolutely bliss. The complex is small with only 10 accommodation huts.

From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful. From taking our suitcases to our room to looking after us when we felt a wee bit under the weather. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

The complex itself has a lovely pool which is quiet for most of the time. The pool is stepped at each end at just the right level to allow you to lie in it and sunbathe. The sunbeds are also proper beds and the complimentary sunhats are a plus.

The huts themselves are luxury with high quality fittings and plenty of space. The bath was particularly spacious.

Meals were excellent however it can get a little repetitive if you are there for an extended period. Also, portions are huge so don't let your eyes get the better of you!

A wonderful stay overall!!

This hotel is so wonderful we're already planning a return. From the moment we stepped into the courtyard we knew everything would be peaceful and trouble free. The staff are utterly friendly and cannot do enough for you. Javid was just exceptional. Breakfasts in the garden. Lunch in the beautiful restaurant. The attention to detail is endless. Our lodge was just perfect and the pool is stunning. I really cannot fault our 5 day stay here. Truly an amazing oasis.
