A group of 6 of us stayed at the Riad Dar Thania, and the experience was wonderful. It was very spacious, clean, and decorated in modern Moroccan decor. There is a beautiful roof to sunbathe or to enjoy a meal. The riad located in the old city and is about a 7-8 minute walk from the main square. My friends and I loved our stay here and would highly recommend it for large groups of Travelers.

A group of 6 of us stayed at Riad Dar Thania and could not have been more delighted by the experience! The Riad is perfect- beautiful, charming, comfortable, and in a perfect location. We would sit on the roof every morning while Momo served us breakfast. In the evenings, if we decided to stay in (which we often did because we loved being in the Riad so much), Momo would cook us traditional Moroccan dishes as good as a top restaurant. He also helped us plan outings, including organizing a trip to the mountains one day. Seriously, Momo was like a personal concierge, chef, and tour guide. Both he and the Riad made our stay in Marrakesh unforgettable. I have no doubt this is one of the best- if not the best- Riads in Marrakesh.

I travelled with 5 girlfriends to Morrocco. We visited Marrakech, Fez and Casablanca. The Dar Thania was very close to the main square in Marrakech. FYI the main square is super fast-paced and a lot of vendors will approach you, so pay attention. We were all females, so there were a few moments where we felt it was time to go home. We dressed pretty conservatively to attract less attention. But once we started walking towards the Dar Thania, it felt nice and safe and quiet. We were greeted by our host Momo, who basically made the stay unforgettable and was super helpful and kind. We got breakfast on the outdoor roof every morning, internet access, soothing tea throughout the day, the bathrooms were stone and lavish. Me and my girlfriends stayed at many different riad's and hotels on this trip but none could compare to the Dar Thania. Super safe and accomodating. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: all the rooms are beautiful, there are singles and doubles.

I stayed one week in Marrakech with my family. We loved this house because my daughters got a twin room of their own and i got a nicely decorated bedroom along with my husband. The riad staff was very friendly. This small private riad is very well located on a safe and calm medina neighborhood. Because the house only has 3 rooms, and we took 2, we got the whole house just for ourselves for the most of the week. The terrace is great for afternoon family relaxation.

while my solo visit to marrakech i stated in this riad during 3 days. it is very close to the city's most famous monuments as jemaa el fna square, bahia palace and the jewish district called the mellah. the house decoration is very nice, mixing a bit of many places in the world with the moroccan type of traditional objects. this riad only has 3 rooms so expect total privacy. bedrooms are very confortable and staff is very friendly.

The Riad Dar Thania is a quaint and quiet riad just a short walk from the main square. We shared the three bedroom townhouse with two other couples we were travelling with so we had the entire place to ourselves. The space was pleasing, modestly decorated and very clean. Drawbacks were the bedroom was a bit tight although we knew ahead of time it was two twins pushed together to make a king (the other two bedrooms seemed to have a bit more space) and we didn't have hot water to shower with in the morning. Mornings we were so busy rushing off to our activities that we forgot to take it up with the host to see if he could remedy it. Thus I'm not sure if the hot water is a constant issue or if there is a solution we were missing, none of our companions mentioned it. Our host Momo was attentive, helpful, and very gracious. The mornings started with a delicious Berber breakfast of breads, pancakes, yogurt, fresh orange juice, and strong coffee and in the afternoons refreshing mint tea. Overall a very pleasant stay and a very good value.

Lovely tranquil experience away from the hustle and bustle that is Marrakech. Beautifully clean, comfortable surroundings in a sympathetically renovated Riad right in the heart of the Medina. Lovely rooftop terrace where our host Momo who was not only so welcoming and helpful throughout cooked and served us a delicious Moroccan meal on our first evening. Delicious breakfasts also cooked by the young cheerful staff enjoyed before braving the souks. I have a slight walking disability and did find the steps to the roof terrace taxing but worth it. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor with the remaining 2 on the 1st floor all reasonably sized doubles and comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and hired the whole riad and would definitely return. The riad owner also suggested a car hire firm called Labelvoiture owner Mr Zine from whom we hired a 4x4 for 5 days at a very reasonable cost whose customer service was excellent.
