We stayed as a group of 13, never an easy ask for any hotel; however sara and her small team looked after us brilliantly. The location is not as central as my last visit, however I enjoyed being a little further away from the madness of the Souks. The riad is in fact made up of 2 riads, and has great character and charm although not as polished as some.
There are 3 or 4 small coutyards, great for hanging out and ensuring there is always a quiet corner. The roof is a great suntrap and offers plenty of space.
Overall a great value, friendly choice for a few day in Marrakech

Stayed at this Riad in Marrakech for 3 nights in total. The service is absolutely fantastic and the staff helped us with everything from New Years dinner to massages and taxi pick-up, everything with very short notice and without any hazzle. They have excellent knowledge about the area and speak multiple languages, which makes it easy to get valuable info for the stay in Marrakech. Also, the vibe is as genuine and Moroccan as it gets with very nice rooms, a beautiful rooftop terrace and relaxing inner yard. Top top experience and highly recommendable!

I had the pleasure of spending 5 wonderful days at Riad Dar Sara in conjunction with a corporate retreat. Apart from the tasteful decor and beautiful rooms I was particularly happy with the extraordinary service we received. Not only did all the staff respond to our request by over-delivering on everything we asked for, but Sara went out of her way to accommodate my special request in regards to a business meeting. Thanks to Sara and her staff our trip was absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough. Enjoy your stay!

My wife and I spent several weeks in Morocco this october for our vacation. During our stay in Marrakesh, we stayed at the Riad Dar Sara. We can begin here by saying that everything exceeded our highest expectations! The accomodations themselves are absolutely wonderful. From the quiet and elegant courtyard with trees and rose petals in the fountain, to the lovely and very clean rooms, as well as the roof beakfast terrace complete with sun canopy, we immediately felt spoiled. But even better than the physical surroundings was the warm and professional hospitality showed to us in every respect by the incredible manager Hakim. This man is a pearl of Marrakesh! From the very first moment, he made us feel as though our well-being was his highest priority. His mild-mannered friendliness and the extra efforts he always went to in order to make our stay unforgettable is something we will truly not forget.... Hakim is a wonderful cook as well as a terrific source of information regarding authentic Morrocan culture (he is also active and successful as an artist). We recommend the Riad Dar Sara to all those who love luxurious and understated elegance in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, as well as the discrete service and attention of a warm and highly professional management staff. Thank you so much, Hakim, for everything - we hope to return very soon! Julia and Andrew

I only stayed one night at Dar Sara with my Dad. We had booked the hotel through their very detailed website where they feature their various riad in Marrakech. All you have to do is choose the one you want to go to and contact them. We received a fast response within 24 hours. We received a warm welcome from the staff. We stayed in a room on the ground floor. Comfortable beds and linen. Nice bathroom. Clean. A room on the ground floor means you might have to close the shutters to get some privacy from the riad's courtyard, but this is not a big deal. Since we arrived early in the morning we had a wonderful breakfast at the riad. Staff is eager to help and very friendly. Euros and Dirhams are accepted for payment as well as credit card. The riad is clean and well maintained. Not so easy to find if you don't have a detailed map of the medina and if you arrive there by yourself. You might need help from locals to guide you in exchange of a few Dirhams. The riad can give you a detailed map of the medina which is quiet helpful when you are visiting and looking for a specific place or souk. Short but very good stay.
