I would like to promote the Supratours bus station. We stayed 3 days in Marrakech and then went to Essaouria via Supratours. The bus station is very well run and very clean with efficient staff. On our way back from Ess. we had time to kill and needed a meal before going to the airport. The food was some of the best in Marr. a wonderful chefs salad that was enough to share between two. A plate of mixed kebabs with the best french fries we had in Morocco. The kind waiter even brought me a spoon for my own yoghurt. The meal arrived very quickly and was immpecably served with a smile. My husband had an expresso and the whole bill came to £6. Many locals were eating there, which is always a great sign.

The railroad station in Marrakech is centrally located and not far from all of the main attractions and hotels. A clean and modern transportation hub, it is a great place to buy a train ticket to access other cities and regions in Morocco. Getting a cab here is easy and inexpensive. Just look for the yellow metered cabs out front.

We took the train to Tangier and amazed at this relatively new rail station. Easy and safe to organise train trip.

Public transport in Morocco is excellent and cheap. I arrived by train from Casablanca and took the local city bus to the Jemaa el Fna square, only 4 riad.
