Just writing this review whilst sitting by the pool. This is a good basic hotel. It is very central for walking out, yes some people say you get a second rate service if you are not French. I can confim this is "Not" the case. My wife speaks some GCSE French and I speak some Arabic, we have had a few problems but nothing a french phrase book and the reception staff muddling through with there english couldnt solve and it was good fun.The staff have all been great, very wellcoming and very willing to help. The wifi is free, but a bit scratchy, we lost connection a few times, but it is usable. We were in room 231 (poolside), we could get wifi whilst sitting on the balcony. The call to prayer did not cause any problems. We did not get woken up by the dawn call. However we were woken by a small frog in the waterfall by the pool trying to find a friend.
If you are a tea drinkers like us you may want to bring a travel kettle, they do not have kettles in the rooms. I would recommend not going full board, you can still eat there if you want. The food is cheap ang good in the square.
