“An island of luxury.”

Hidden down mediaeval alleys the door opens into an arabian nights fantasy. The decor is amazing and eclectic and we had a large room with a double shower and a private garden with banana plants. The welcome and attentiveness was of the highest level and the staff were always there with a real smile. Breakfast on the roof, with views of the high Atlas mountains, was varied and the chef, Fatima, produced brilliant meals in the evening or at lunchtime. Nicolas our host was extremely helpful, guiding us too and from pick up points, and was full of information about where to go and where to visit. A wonderful first experience of Morocco.

Arriving late we were welcomed at the airport by the taxi driver and taken to the riad where Nicolas met us at the drop off point. Nicolas is the perfect host in every way with suggestions, directions and help! The riad is beautiful, spotless, quiet, and comfortable. The staff are all very professional. The food is delicious, so thank you.

we stayed at the Riad Camilla for my birthday , after seeing the website I didn't think this place could be anymore beautiful, that is until we got there! it is stunning and peaceful and Nicolas and the staff are all wonderful and so friendly , nothing is to much trouble . Our room was massive and always spotless ! Nicolas helped us with some excursions which were both a lot of fun ( we did dune quad biking and a trip to the coast and also had my birthday meal in the desert watching the sunset)
we also ate at there a couple of times and the food was delicious . my boyfriend and I have both said we will be going back and was very sad to leave . thank you for such a fantastic stay and a brilliant birthday.

Room Tip: we slept in room 5 which had a private stair case to the roof and was very quiet but all rooms look...

When you arrive to Riad Camilia you litterally walk into a hole in the wall, but after a long narrow and dart street you are in front of a black door. And inside is another world. A beautiful little hotel withb only six rooms. We stayed for 4 days with our 3 kids and had a wonderful time. The place is truly marvellous. A bit sad we could not use the roof terrace more, due to low morning and evening tempeatures - but you can't blame anyone for that. Nicolas was very helpful and the rest of the staff was very serviceminded and always smiling. Only downer was a problem with a toilet in one of our rooms.

After the excitement of the Souks it's always a pleasure to escape home to the well-located Riad Camilia, relax on the stunning rooftop and view the Atlas mountains. This was our second visit and wish we were back. The Riad is gorgeously decorated throughout, with all bedrooms (we viewed each as we had a large party rent the Riad) offering plenty of space, beautiful Moroccan details and extremely clean interiors. I can't say enough about Nicolas. He's a true professional with a personal touch. He goes out of his way to be sure you have what you need and will make arrangements for you with a smile He is truly a wonderful person. I recommend you eat out a few times to experience Marrakech; however, Fatima delivers better lunches and dinners than most restaurants you will find, so make a point of eating in the Riad often!!! We brought our own Champagne (and other liquor) enroute from airports, duty free, as people in our party mentioned liquor overall in Morocco is quite expensive in comparison. I'm already jealous if you are booking at Riad Camilia!!!
