This place looks the biz - I was even duped into thinking it was a genuine riad.. but no, it is 10 years old, and dreadful food is served by unmotivated staff. Our food [a tagine and pastille] was overpriced and badly cooked. We had wanted to enjoy a glass of wine with our dinner, but what the waiter recommended [at 280 MAD per bottle, about £22] was virtually undrinkable. Two musicians provided gentle music, which was soothing, in the background. You have to need alcohol to put up with this - there is little else to recommend it!

Extremely helpful and service-minded staff - good food at great value. We had meals in different places (posh restaurant and in our Riad) but kept coming back here. Very well situated and you can get drinks too! We travelled with an 8-year-old and he loved it here.

This restaurant is located on a busy street attracting lots of spontaneous visiting customers. Perhaps this explains the high prices, bad service and terrible food. The tagine we had was the worst we had during our ten day trip. Uninterested waiters with no sense of service. We noticed we were overcharged 10 dirhams on the way back to our Rihad and are quite confident this was no accident.

Stumbled upon this place whilst sightseeing. One of the few places you can get an alcoholic drink if you wish. We received good service, got a fab table looking out towards the bustling street. 2 mins and you are back in the main square. Enjoyed it so much went back a 2nd time!

The venue looked nice enough... we were seated, and they gave us a menu. When we looked at the menu we realised it was similar to the cafe on the corner of the same road, in a nicer setting ... we thought we would give it a go as the other place may have had an off day when we went ... Nope- the food was dreadful! I had a salad - which was completely bland and I was almost ready to suggest that they go to the medina and buy some! Do not eat the Chicken dishes ... my husband had a chicken and cheese crepe as he didn't want a main course - it looked like pigs sick!!!

Please - if you have read this review - do not attempt this place, regardless of how nice it looks!
